A great course with a mix of wide open and wooded fairways. The baskets are a bit sketchy, though. The chains are light, causing discs to be ejected fairly often.

Fairly dull course with among the most nonsensical and non-linear course designs I've ever seen. Still, if you're just looking to get out and throw some discs, it can be fun.

No teepads, no signage. They do have a map posted at the pavilion, you will NEED to take a picture of it or you will have no idea where the next teepad is. Holes were a decent challenge for newer players, no terrible water hazards. Not sure I would recommend it even for newer players until/unless they get some concrete out there.

While I still have some issues with the flow of the holes and heard another golfer asking directions to the next hole, it does allow a variety of shots and selection can be the difference between a short second shot and OB.

Played the old course and like it. This course is decent too I think. I like the addition of woods holes, even if they are short. I have gotten much better at my putter drives because of it. If you want holes to open up on, go to North Rotary Club they have some long ones. The reason I am reviewing is to bring to attention that there is a group of three kids riding around on bikes here, stealing peoples discs and trying to sell/trade them back to people. Be on the lookout! One of the kids names is Jack.

Just played the redesigned course, and have to admit I am thoroughly disappointed. The front nine has no flow, the walk between #3 and #4 is a hike, and there is no continuity whatsoever. The back nine is a complete joke, the amount of holes under 200' is ridiculous. It is obvious the addition of a dog park and the new basketball courts took precedence over the disc golf course, and it shows, with poor layout and lack of imagination. Loved the old layout, especially compared to this tragedy. The holes don't flow together (big gaps between some) making it hard to navigate. Since the field south of the tennis courts are usually rented for soccer or lacrosse, you have to walk right through hole 8 to get from hole 3 to 4. Some of the water runoff pipes dump into almost man-made marsh areas that some holes go right through. They also took away a lot of the north/south shots so most of the starting holes playing right into the win ...

Course is now twice as easy. Longest hole is around 370ft... before they had several that were 450ft+ so its a bummer you can't rip it anymore. The tee pads for the first 5 holes are about 250ft apart from each other....layout is terrible...why would you put a dog park right next to a screaming expressway....it hurts my ears enough being close to it, I can't image how the dogs feel. Big bummer here....

Fun course with some holes you can bomb on. Fairly wide open and easy with only a few holes with trees to contend with and some roads and paths acting as OB. Usually fairly windy which adds a bit of challenge. Busy park besides disc golf, usually have to keep an eye out for pedestrians.

Well designed course with variety in terms of length and elevation. This course needs to have cement tees put in. Also, some of the baskets are too low.

Not a terrible course, just not one that I go to frequently. I'll get my fill if I play it once or twice a year.
Pros:
Long distance holes, allows you to work on your driving.
Cons:
Very loud on the first 9 holes being in such close proximity to I-96 highway.
Interference from playgrounds, walking paths, picnic pavillions...
No technical holes: There will be an occasional tree in the way, but thats it.

Front section of course: What the hell is this? Made slightly more difficult by playing asphalt as a river, but seriously...what the hell? Play hole, walk back upstream, play hole (that at least attempts to honor the old course), walk some more, throw a long hole, hitch a ride with a long haul trucker, play a long hole, short uphill hole which was pretty cool, walk ALL THE WAY DOWN A HOLE BACKWARDS, play a hole, then play one final last pretty decent hole. Walk paths, parking lots, tennis courts, soccor fields, pavilions, play grounds and roads are all in play. Not enough room for a disc golf course with all the other activities going on.

After the redesign, a lot of the holes have been shortened up and a few wooded holes have been added. The redesign isn't a complete failure, however, navigating the first 5 or 6 holes is pretty bad. The holes aren't even close together, and a few of them still manage to throw at eachother.
The holes are all a lot shorter, but playing with the OBs definitely adds to the experience and keeps things interesting (you'll be throwing a lot of hyzers). The wooded holes also add an element that the o ...

Ok course good for beginners or nice break from the woods. Better be warmed up pn hole 1 because you are throwing 360' right at a parking lot.Tee pads are slippery dirt signage is pretty bad but course has an alright flow so it's not that hard to find your way. Had a girl try to steal my disc today on the hole you throw over the trees. Overall not a place i would go out of my way to play but an ok pit stop

Pretty decent course. Mostly wide open 300-400 ft. drives to air your arm out on, some with elevation coming into play. A few holes around 200 ft. or less.
Course seemed pretty well-maintained. Fairways were mowed (not super short) and the rough wasn't awful. Highway noise was kind of a bummer. Not crazy about holes 1 and 13 shooting right alongside the parking lots.

I can only wonder if this redesign was the product of a wager, based on the statement, "I bet you can't make a worse design than the first layout." Well, if my speculation is correct they have succeeded. This is a boring mess. The layout is illogical, there is no semblance of any linear formatting. It is an abomination. The best thing to do would be to sneak in at night, steal all the baskets and donate them to someone who will not hire a graduate of the Helen Keller School of Disc Golf Design to make a new course.

This is NOT a good course. This is the course you play if your within 10 minutes of it and your in a hurry to get a game in. For me, sadly, it's right on my way home from work. First, the course is busy with pedestrians all summer and many holes throw along walking paths, soccer fields, even a playground; Think about how awesome you'd feel after you ripped a great drive. . . . right into a toddler, very imaginable thing to have happen out here. Oh, and let's not forget about the people loit ...

This would be a great course if they had cement pads. Unfortunately, they're completely awful. Most of then are essentially ruts. 16 and 17 are both long holes (500+) which are cool. There are several easy birdies out there that you have to take advantage of in order to shoot well.

Very enjoyable CLEAN course... its starts off with a fun nature walk along the highway with the front nine with no hole over 250ft with little obstacle... then it flips that nice nature walk upside down with some straight bomber holes 450+... i think if there were some more obstructions on all 18 this would be a great event course... highly recommended for a GR course because lets face it brewer got a lot worse, johnson doesnt get mowed and no baskets and riverside is a ses pool of nightmares from the goose poop to the unknowns lurking in the water defiling your disc that you just threw in...

This course is very open, allowing lots of different, viable shot options per hole. With six holes over 400 feet, you can really let it rip! Grass (or more accurately, dirt) tee pads are a big buzz kill. Nice signage is clearly a new addition, which really begs the question; "why aren't there real tee pads?" Overall a fun course with entertaining distance drives. Bring your big guns.

This course definitely has its pros and cons. The course is mostly long distance with only a couple short holes. The park is well kept and clean. Unfortunately its mostly open throws with no obstacles so the wind is an unavoidable hazard. Also, the pars for just about every hole is set too high.

A fun family course. It can be fun to see just how far you can let one rip depending on the wind. You will get at least one down hill down wind hole to let that 130ish blizzard fly. Not much challenge but a fun course to kill a couple hours.

If you have absolutely no where else to go (even your own backyard, if you don't have one it wouldnt really matter) basically runs around the outside of a park. Some holes cross and some run into areas where people are.

The new set up not to bad . I might talk to them about doing a 180 on Hole 1 .It would make the flow & walk to # 2 less confusing ( especially for 1st timers ). Other wise its nice to see some holes in the woods now , nice retreat from the sun on the hot days . long, open course that plays through and around a township park that is used for a lot of other activities. so soccer fields, baseball diamonds, parking lots, sidewalks, and playgrounds are all in play and most of the other parkgoers have no idea what disc golf is. Located next to the freeway so there is almost always a west-to-east wind blowing which keeps things interesting. *tee 1 is tough to find. walk along the side of the south soccer field toward the woods and there is a dirt pad between the field and the sidewalk. the hole plays back to the basket near the parking lot.*

Mostly all open with mature trees and some distance. Wind really plays a factor here. There are some nice elevation shots that are fun and get to test your arm and accuracy with wind at the same time. Long dirt pads that have been worn by play and no signage or directions to next hole are a minus for Cascade. it is a great course, not lot of people during the week, and it has a lot of elevation change and it has open area so you can really see how your throw is. the only two down falls are; not having tee pads (given) and the back nine needs a new lay out. besides that in love it. i stop there every day i can on my way to work. also i work at a pizza shop near there called Paradise Pizza and we are planning on holding tournaments so we can get tee pad's in and maybe see to change the back nine.

Mediocre course at best. Design is very open with limited obstacles/hazards. The wind will definitely come in to factor on any given day, which is a nice challenge.
