Very nice course, but also very open. If it is crowded you will always want to keep you head up for rouge discs. Pretty straightforward course.

I liked this course a lot. I wish I had more time to play it 3 times once of each set of pads. Not too oeasy not too hard, just fun

This is a very fast course(45mins) holes are not very long but you have to navigate trees everywhere. You crisscross over holes but you're not really in the way when playing! Played here multiple times and always enjoyed the course.

very open, older course.. kind of worth playing if you are in the area, but not really worth more then a 15 minute drive, there are better courses in this area

First time playing course. Good course, good layout. Not crazy about the old style of baskets, but what do you expect from one of the old courses in the country??

Pros: Multi-tee, shaded, suitable for beginners
Cons: A bit jammed, stays damp
Sum: Nice change of pace from other local courses

Well maintained course, great for families with young children since there is no elevation changes and minimal poison ivy.

Too compact.. all I heard was heads up and fore all day.. low ceiling isn't conducive to my style of playing..

This is a solid course for beginners. Flat and without brush for the most part, the course weaves its way through lots of large trees with nice grass fairways, which are mowed regularly. Remarkably compact for an 18 hole course. One of the oldest on the east coast. No water or bathrooms. Port-a-potty over near tennis course, sometimes.

This course is very small its birdie bash material. It was nice to play easy enough, nice people out there. I would go back and play it again, had some interesting features to it, nothing amazing, but a good course no less.

Good course for beginners or getting in a relaxed round. Very little separation between fairways, but there are brand new baskets and it's well maintained. Not a destination course, but if you're already in the area it's definitely worth checking out.

Pros: Nice concrete tee pads. Fairly clean course.
Cons: Most confusing layouts you'll ever play. You literally have no real idea what basket you're throwing to as there's 1/2 dozen in view from each tee pad.

A great little course. Multiple tee positions and the new hole 13 is pretty cool! Calvert is a lot less strenuous than other Md. courses which is cool for beer rounds!
