I have played this course since being in high school...1979-82. $ wide open holes and the rest are in the woods requiring planning to get around all the trees. The canopy also keeps it fairly cool in the summer.

Course is kept in great shape, but has too many short straight holes for my taste. Don't get me wrong, there are four holes that are very difficult to get close to in one shot, but too many that make you feel like a dunce for getting par.

Very short holes (only one hole over 300 which is from pro tee) which can be fun due to high ace chances. LOTS of trees, but has easy paths to baskets. Bunch of leaves right now, so keep an eye on your disc. Good overall layout, but just too short for me. -3/22/12

Love this course it's challenging, fun, and can be really great to meet other disc golfers but i dont like how it crosses the street and then have to cross back over to finish out the course.

Nice course to play this time of year, dont know how it would be in summer with the leaves fully grown in. Front 6 holes were all fairly short got alittle more difficult in the back 9.

Overall pretty good. One of those short courses that will challenge your straight shot ability and putting. Couple of mando tree holes and a few sharp left to right turn holes as well. Holes 9-11 are a great open field mix to give you a break from the rest of the wooded holes. Beware of kids and joggers throughout holes 1-7.

Nice, wooded course with a couple open holes midway through. Nothing too long, some nice technical throws. B+ over B because it's the course closest to me.

Pros: Multiple tees and basket positions on every hole. Signage is present on every hole with current basket position. Very nice use of mandos on 5 and 16 (mandos could be added on 8, 13 and 15 that would make them more interesting and more technical). This course has a bit of everything that will test your accuracy and shot selection depending on the basket position. The people that maintain the course try to keep the positions in interesting positions. Elevation is mildly a factor throughout ...

love this course. has plenty of ace runs at several of the holes, i play this course more than any other. lost of great chances to try out different shots by taking different lanes and approaches. not very difficult from the shorts, from longs is another monster in itself.

Super easy, super open course. Very short holes even from the pro tees. $10 if you're not a Fairfax CO resident. IMO only worth playing if you are county resident and want to squeeze in a quick game. Played through twice from pro tees (not all holes have pro tees) in about an hour and a half. Tons of people at the park especially on weekends who like to wander through the disc golf course instead of staying on the hiking trails, adding to unnecessary hold ups and delays. Probably will not play a ...

Far more challenging and fun than regular ol' Burke Lake, this course demands precise double-movement throws, creative use of lines, finesse, and power. Wish it could be open all the time!

Best tee pad signage I have come across. Tee pads tended to be hazardous at times. Course lacks length. All but a few holes are heading ily forested, demanding tight technical shooting. Excellent scenery, signage and amenities like bag hangers at the tee pad to keep your gear out of the mud. For a 300 foot tosser, the course would be an ace heaven. Well done Burke Lake

I have no idea why this course is rated highly. The park is beautiful, but there is a lot of other park activities that make this course a hazard to play. I almost hit a few other park goers with shots of the tees that were either walking aimlessly on the course or on paths that are too close to the pins. There was some nice holes, but all in all, not a very great course. A lot of the fairways were to close to each other, and there was also some tees that were not in very good spots that cou ...

Not an overly challenging course, but a very nice way to get introduced to the game. The course plays predominantly in the woods without many holes requiring too great a distance. Overall this course introduces some technical elements without being overly demanding.

Great course overall. Really fun and great for beginners as well. Easy, but definitely not too easy. It's my favorite in the area so far.
