I checked out the course status the other day. The signs and basket sleeves for 10, 11 and 12 are in. More clearing is needed but these three holes will be better than the 9 that is already there, lots of elevation, etc.. What does not make sence is that 12 ends way in the back, not near the parking lot. Also, many more trees are marked for what seems to make a great continuous loop all the way to the parking lot. Anyone know the latest details / plans?

That's actually the worse part they are adding 3 holes with absolutely no discgolfer involvement while it would only take them completely the portion of the job they promised would be finished May last year. Now they think the ada 6 can be called actual holes, and 3 more poorly designed holes ... more

A total of 10 large DEAD trees need to be cleared they are 2-3 stories tall and they refuse to let us remove them as its a safety issue and promised in feb last year if we marked what needed to be cut they would cut it, we agreed to clear it, we did so many hours of work wasted weekends and there inability to complete there small portion killed a massive 100 acre expansion into beautiful land

We just recieved news that the course expansion will be delayed. Park Office: "Currently the field office will be out within the next two weeks or so, due to an unexpected delay related to the repair of a sink hole."
We hope to be back on track in a few weeks and with hope baskets in the ground before the end of June.

We spoke with Kip we should be seeing the clearing crew in May, we have most of the planning done it's clearing for the machines that needs the heavy work now this weekend we are building trophies, side games, new sign holders, fixing 3 flag banners, and a bunch of other crap for no foolin but we will be back to work after no foolin

Sunday July 28th the opening of the Hamburg Twp. course (The course is on discgolfscene already. on Merrill road south of M36 in there sports complex. very unique course in the hilly terrain. Brought to you by A3disc.

They had a handful of trees left to clear and delayed it 9 months from there initial promise of them clearing the large trees with excuses they were short handed, their machine was broken, they even had us come back to show them the course layout before they did the final clearing they did all but 3 holes then we get an email from them saying a Boy Scout will be completing the project. Bill and his crew worked hard to get the 9 holes but their refusal to dedicate any real resources for pad construction or course completion. A great course lost to gov inaction.
