This course has a lot of history. One of the oldest in Alabama. The pine trees look intimidating from a distance, but you have very good throwing lanes to most all the baskets. Definitely worth playing. I love this course.

there isn't much variety of shots from hole to hole. I can literally play this course with a challenger, zone, predator, and meteor. it was either a straight up the middle shot, hyzer shot, or a flick shot. the difficulty of the course was low, but it was very beautiful and a good course to play and learn how to play in a tight wooded course.

I really enjoy this course. Wooded with hyzer and anhyzer routes to most baskets. Every hole can be birdied if you manage the course and take the shots that are there.

Buzz Saw Alley! This course is a lot of fun to play. Offers some nice shots outside of the tress as well as in.

Love this course. It's short and sweet..very direct; a good example of how to efficiently make use of minimal space. It's also a nice technical course due to the large number of trees. I love trying to get that perfect ace by passing my driver between two old pine trees to hit the corner of a basket. And, like the sign says, it was founded in 1976 (the first official year for disc golf) and is the oldest course around.

The weather had been rainy for the 3 weeks before, and there had obviously been flooding, the mud was the only problem with the exception of hole 14, there was NO room for any error at all. it was the lowest point on the course, and the fairway was about 20 ft. wide the entire length. definitely very threatening to non-locals.

Good layout, lots of birdy-able holes. Nice surroundings, occasional homeless, really crowded summer weekends.

This is a great course with many easyholes with numerous challenges standing in the way. Bring your good attitude and your best upshot disk if you are prepared to take on Braun Springs. Don't let the hundreds of pine trees leave you with disc golfers remorse as you nail pine tree after pine tree. Instead take your best driver and steady your aim grip it and rip it at the home of Braunzilla.

A historic pine tree filled layout that's fun to play. PROS: + HISTORY + According to the PDGA, this is one the first courses built in the world, somewhere between 3rd and 5th. A Steady Ed and Tom Monroe creation back in 1976. This notice by itself, makes Brahan Springs a destination course. + FUN FACTOR + The perfect place to bring three friends and a six-pack. There are ample opportunities for birdies. Errant throws are not further punished even though there are lots of pines to weave ...

This is the ultimate confidence builder course. All par 3, challenging wooded course for being as short as it is. Ace runs galore, pine trees with very little else to contend with, pine straw is a great skip surface, concrete tee pads are some of the best I have ever seen. After a shoulder injury that totally took me out of the game, this course got me back my mojo. As part of my physical therapy, I started back throwing blizzard stuff really ultra light weight. This course will always feel like home to me.

Brahan Springs Park was a bucket list course for me. My round did not go how I had hoped it would, but I really enjoyed playing Brahan. The mixture of long and short tees with open and wooded shots made this course really enjoyable. My felon got a lot of work during this round.

Tough course, tight lines but they are there. Something about being one of the oldest courses in the country too.

Great course for all skill levels. Lots of lines you can come up with due to the amount of trees. Really great lay out, easy to find the next teepad, nice baskets, great signage, ECT. You can play the whole course in under an hour so it is great if you are just wanting to get in a quick round. Excellent course!

So far my favorite course we have played. We are beginners but it gave the right amount of challenge for us. The higher canopy is easier than our home course. It was a good change of pace from the extreme elevation courses we have played.
