Ya, it's a great course. Not perfect but has something for everyone. Classic New England wooded course with a few open fields and some rocky hillsides

Amazing course. Lots of long holes from blue t pads to blue baskets, and pleny of ace runs from whites, plenty of trees, and awesome scenery. The course is very well maintained. The only bad things about the course is lots of casuals playing in the after noon so play before noon and youll be fine. It has 18 holes but two pins and t pads on every hole so you can play a different layout and it will take you all weekend. It cost two dollers a car to get in but well worth it for all skill levels.

Consistently great course - refined and improved by the swapped 14th tee placements. My favorite in MA.

Beautiful course, nice long open holes with just enough trees to make it interesting. Hope to play this one again soon.

the course is great. But, not a big fan of holes 1-4, random people and families sometimes wander around in the way. its not the courses fault, just my personal experience.

Fantastic course. Some of the walking seems to hurt the flow of things at times but not too much. Come a long way.

Pretty excellent course- two pins two tee-pads per hole. Long holes, short holes, medium holes- great variety IMO. I wish i lived closer to this course! can get buggy and swampy, but not impossibly so. definitely worth traveling to.

Lots of variations in layouts makes it easy to choose an easier round or a challenging one. Active league options available. Very busy on the weekends - avoid especially if you are trying to play the longer layouts.

I would love to throw this course again. I cannot rate this park due to playing in 1' plus of snow on the ground for all but 4 of the holes. I watched the slide show on the park's website and said I am playing this course no matter what the weather was like.

This course is just awesome and should be considered on anyones tops list. 900ft par 5 was the first massive hole I have ever played. Super cool and very playable. Here is to hoping I play better next time!

Great course for beginners or experts. Although its one course there 4 different ways to play it. There a white and blue start as well as a white and blue hole with white being a shorter distance. So if you are a beginner you'd start going white to white and if your an expert you'd go blue to blue. It's only $2 to park and a yearly pass is only $35. And on top of all this it's a beautiful park and a great hike through out the course. Definitely the best course in the area.

Borderland State Park is one of my top three courses. It has a perfect mix of woods play and field play, long drives, very aesthetically pleasing, and is extremely organized. I had no problems finding the any tee pads or baskets. As a bonus the warm fire in the visitor center provided a most delightful ambiance.

This course is fun. The tee boxes are good and there is good signs to get from hole to hole and information about the course it really good. There are a few holes that are flat out not fun. Hole 17 and 18 are not fun holes to play. There is a large gap between pin 4 and tee 5 also pin 17 to tee 18. Oh and the 900 foot hole is fun if you can throw long very long.

Great wooded course that offers at least two tee and hole locations on every whole. Tee boxes were generally in great shape and most had brooms and seating. Among the best courses I've ever played.

Course is well maintained and challenging. Wooded with elevation. 2 tees and 2 baskets on every hole makes for 4 course layouts.

Beautiful course with two sets of tees and two sets of baskets on each hole, creating four different course combinations to be played. The course is well maintained with excellent rubber-mat tee boxes. Lots of tight lines through the trees. Good mix of left-to-right and right-to-left holes, forcing you to make a wide range of shots each round. The blue tees to blue basket combination is long and demanding, while the white-white combo is shorter, more forgiving, and features a number of ace runs.

+: Decent tee pads.
-: Long walk from 4 to 5, navigation to multiple baskets / tee pads was a little tricky on a few of the holes. Overall, for such an established course being around for over 23 years, would have expected bettter clarity of the layout. Baskets were all in mixed pin positions, tee signs not accurate on a lot of holes, etc.

The course is well laid out in terms of the hole arrangement, well marked, well maintained, and on a potentially excellent grounds (picturest low meadow and some wet areas, with a nice mansion). The forestry is very poorly executed, maintaining a poison ivy riddled swamp over much of the course, while completely eliminating the view with a plethora of low growth. The result is that this is a potentially great course where you will get some new mosquito bites, and probably a case of poison ivy o ...

Fantastic course with variety of shots and four possible layouts. Couldn't ask for a better home course. The only major issue is massive overcrowding; be prepared for slow play and to be sandwiched in between groups on a weekend. Time for Borderland to start charging per golfer on the weekends!

All four layouts are equally playable with a good diversity of shots. The only thing the course is lacking is holes with significant elevation changes. Doesn't matter if you're a righty, a lefty, a newbie, or a veteran, you'll find a layout you like... and some local hoodlums to help you play it.

This course was a lot of fun. We played in both doubles and singles format on a really cold Saturday morning. I could see this being a very tough course to trek through following ANY rain, but other than that it was a really fun technical course I would recommend to any skill level of players!

beautiful grounds, excellent mix of shots; with two tees and two baskets at all times, lots of combos for rounds; lots of other park-goers, but they're rarely even noticed/in the way...hard to choose between this and Maple Hill as my favorites in MA

Really interesting course. Elevation changes, tight, open, technical: this course has it all. But with multiple tee boxes, alternate baskets and too many people on the course, it just wasn’t a lot of fun!!!

Good over all. Clean lanes, well maintained, elevation variation, mostly wooded with a few wide open shots. A few holes can get pretty wet and weave through a swampy area.

2 tees and 2 baskets per hole and each hole has a unique feel to it, only downside is how busy it gets
