I have mixed reviews about this course. It is a nice design and offers adequate challenge. The par 4's are on the easier side though. The course is designed on an old golf course that is not well manicured. They cut the grass but is not in good shape. There are no amenities and the course is in the middle of nowhere. So, make sure you bring your own food and drinks. Overall a fun course to play. Nice elevation changes and 18, throwing off a hill, is fun. The astroturf tee surface is nice but most of them are not level. Tee signs are provided but a few have incorrect distances.

Bayview is in my opinion the nicest of the current three disc golf courses in the Thunder Bay area but for years, like Dragon Hills, the course was somewhat unfinished. Before the ODSA and NOC redesigned the course and installed turf teepads on the course in 2021, there was just tee blocks that would routinely move to weird spots if they were out there at all.
