Beautiful course, many signature type holes. 7 and 16 (the "island" green) come to mind. Good mix of hyzer/anhyzer and technical/blaster holes. Alternate tee pads were non existent or poorly marked. Underbrush largely cleared but plenty of places to lose your disc in the water (which is good and bad, really.) All in all a great course.

Very cool and scenic layout. Love the disc catcher baskets. Pro tee's are nice but the AM tee's are non existent. Very technical course. A bit too hard for me, but thats probably how it shoud be from the pro tee's. I would like to see better tee signs and the short tee's put in.

Played it @ worlds. Pretty nice setup as far as the course setup and the veriety of holes. More "true lines" on some the the holes would be nice. And better signs.

I rate this course 3.5 out of 5 stars. Pros - Very beautiful and heavily wooded course. The forest here is thick and you feel like you are deep into nature once the road is out of site. The terrain is easy to walk on but because of a lot of roots and bumps you’ll find rollers and skip shots hindered. - Because this course is so technical you really will use a plethora (3 amigos!) of shots to keep yourself out of some of the thick rough and also to get yourself out of trouble once ...

Doesn't get more challenging then this course. A great mixture of short and long holes. Complete with fantastic views and water shots that take precision or your wet. One of my all time favorite courses.

Beautiful setting; but I am not a fan of water hazards. Many fairways are too tight for an rec player.

Chuck Custer has done it again. a highly enjoyable course with some challenging water hazards a few long holes and more trees than you can shake a stick at. Not for beginners but not necessarily for pros either. one of the best intermediate courses around. Always a blast!

Pros: This course will require every shot in your bag. It plays very technical and tight with a few breathing holes. Not for the faint of heart and could scare the beginner but boy is it fun. Woods! And, lots of them. Water also comes into play and frames some of the more scenic holes on the course. The baskets are in good condition. The tee pads are in good condition. But, they should be at every tee position similar to the Brent Hambrick Memorial DGC. Cons: Slight over growth in some area ...

Concrete pad for all holes, but not all holes with short and long tees have both marked, and few have both tee pads. Listed tee distances are questionable. Course needs maintenance (fallen trees, vandalized signs, etc.). However layout is very nice.

The people were great. However, the course was, in my opinion, poorly put together in certain areas. I think there is a difference between a well placed technical woods shot and a game of plinko. The water areas were fun to play and an easy Hyzer will keep you safe. There was a lot of cut up trees, lumber, in the way. All in all, not the worst golf course, but definitely far from good for me. Glad I could be part of such a good cause for the tournament Aces for Autism.

The back nine still needs a lil clean up but over all this is one of the best courses I have played to date. Holes 4 5 and 6 were my favorite 6 being over all going across the bay. Very nice set up and glad I was able to play it.

Significant improvements have been made over the last 18 months including additional tee boxes (as many as 3 total tees per hole on several holes, most holes have at least 2 tees now), brush clearing, and general upkeep of the course. I would have rated this a B-/C+ a couple years ago, but the course is much improved now. If you haven't played here recently you owe it to yourself to check out the fastest improving course in Central Ohio.

Red Blue, and the occasional Gold Pads make this course fun for every level of player. Its got long bombs, tightly wooded tee-shots, and water holes. Everything you could want on an 18 hole course. The fairways are maintained well with no debris of fallen branches. Definitely worth driving too.

Very solid course with potential to be the best course in central Ohio. Challenging course with many pads and becomes very difficult when playing from the long tees (there are blue tees on most and gold on a few, too). Does have a few shorties, but overall a great mix of shots needed to play well. You'd better be able to scramble well if you want to shoot well. There are a few places with water hazard and distance control with touch is a must on a few holes. Difficult to maintain because of the landscape and the trees, but they're what make the course so much fun!

I loved the challenge of this course, nice pads, signage and baskets, lots to trees and you have to hit your lines or get beat up by the trees.

Scenic and challenging course from long tees. A short course from the reds but still fun for every level of player. Tight lines through the woods but fair w/a few water hazard holes if you're not careful. Good signage and easy to navigate, a must play if you're in central Ohio imo.

Beautiful course with many challenging holes. Unfortunately, compared to other central Ohio courses, Alum relies on luck more than skill on many of the holes

Pretty tough course that has a lot of water in play by baskets. I got a lot of lucky kicks and gap hits on my first time playing. Some short holes but requires precision shots.

This is not a throwers course. There's only 1 open throw which is hole 2. Everything else is in tight woods or hard angles. Plays about a 1/3 or the holes around the lake and you can easily lose a disc. Very tough course that relies on luck more than any skill especially from 9 on thru 18. They would need to cut out a 1/3 of the trees back there to make it a better course. The course very muddy and didn't seem to drain well and a lot of walking between baskets w/o throwing if you play the red baskets.

From the tips to the red baskets, One of the best courses in Ohio imo. It requires power and finesse. Accuracy is key. The ability to hit your line is important. I'm reading reviews of people saying you have to be lucky, which don't get me wrong luck helps but no you don't. There are lines on every single hole and this course will punish you if you miss them. I'm honestly suprised this course isnt rated higher...Big shout out to ACPC for all of the work that you guys put into this course. You are truly appricated!

Tough course. You can get your pars playing the reds. I chose to play the super short tee on #6 as to not have as much contention w the lake. It IS muddy BUT there r placed cement stones and good size tree stumps to help you get through several nasty ground areas. First time here shot a 62 w a flawless back 9. My front 9 sucked including a double bogie on #7.
I like it and WILL be back.

Arguably the best course in central Ohio. Given the scenery, the challenge, and the different setups, you can't go wrong on this course. The hole layouts are very diverse, and will force you to adjust on almost every hole. Well maintained, and such a great place to play!
