Solitude is still on! Come play a round on Thursday. We will be set up down towards the bottom to the left of hole 18. You can register for the tourney, play one of the greatest courses in Utah, or just hang out and see what 5,000 discs looks like. One change from our last post, we will not be there at 10am, the time has shifted to high noon at the request of Solitude. See you there!

All right, Full Throttle at Solitude is this weekend. We will be up there with the entire stash on Thursday. We've got a lot more than what we had at the Riverpark Open. We will be up there from 10am to 6pm (or longer if needed). Come play a round on Thursday before the tourney and check out what close to 5000 discs looks like. Biggest selection in Utah with the best prices. Call if you want us to hold anything for you. 801-820-7750.

The tournament registration is FULL. I've started a waitlist, so let me know if you want to be added. The first few will most likely make it in the event, but I have to wait for the postmarked registration forms to come in.

The Creekside Open is now 80% full and only 10 days away. Don't wait any longer to register. I'm going to shut down the online registration in the next couple days.

Count me in. Let me know what time you need me out there! I can probably leave work about mid-afternoon if that's ok?

I Have to work all weekend. Here are some things that need attention:
Branches in a pile so the county can EASILY pick them up.
Branches on 3b needs to be moved out to other pile by 4's tee-pad.
Line the fairway with logs on 3b (maybe 3a too).
Tee signs.
Bulletin Board.
Trash and trash cans.
Trimming/ pruning.
Repair sleeves 2a, 5b & 13L a&b.

Creekside work day this Sunday, the 3rd from 10 to 2. If we get enough people to help, we will extend the #3B tee pad.

That's what I'm talking about. I'm thinking about an island with a decent drop zone. I want to punish players, but not decimate them. :)

Those island holes are infamous now! I still want to break my umbrella in half! Even speaking of them is an abomination. I will have my revenge Roper!!

Cassidy Houdeshel    March 12, 2011 at 7:22am

and drop zones...Maybe the "Island" boundaries don't even have to be perfect ten meter circles? Skewed ovals could be cool, too.

Cassidy
The exact layout has net been defined, but yes there will be Island holes and alt tees. I'm not sure if it will be cold and rainy, but I do expect it to be a great time. The CFR discs should arrive any day and they are absolutely SICK.
