Baskets have arrived for the Montague course. I have to pick them up either tonight or later this week, and I will keep them in the covered trailer. I (we) also need to pick up concrete and locks from Standard and Hunts. If someone wants to help with any of these things let me know, I'll need help loading up the boxes as well (maybe tonight?). Sunday might be the only day that would work for me to start putting them in, but if a few people wanted to get together Saturday that would be cool too. Otherwise it's going to be hit or miss for me as far as spare time goes.

Montague Course (Henderson Lake Nature Center) Work Day: As you know the new course is getting close to getting baskets in. We are going to be out there working this Saturday, April 21st starting between 11-12. Come on out and walk through the course and help with a little clean up if you can. Moonshine Monday League @ 6.... If anyone has extra firewood that they can bring please do. We will need the hobo fire for sure tonight. We may just end up standin around that sum-bitch drinkin beer and singin songs. See you all there. Every damned one of you.

Dwight "Duey" Lewis was injured in a longboarding accident last Saturday in North Muskegon, he was airlifted to Grand Rapids with significant head trauma. He has been in a medically induced coma since, with swelling around his brain, and is facing a long road to recovery. As you all know, Duey is one of the founding fathers of Whitehall Disc Golf and helped build the course in Whitehall Township. Please be advised that there will be a WDG club meeting on Monday, October 10, 2011, to discuss several issues related to club business and the course. THe meeting will be at 6:30, at the Whitehall Township Hall. All club members are encouraged to attend. thanks

Top 10 things to bring to the Flow and Glow Ace Race:
10. Lights/tape for your discs
9. Food. I'm bringing my grill out for all to use. Bring dogs or whatever and something to share if you can.
8. Camp chair.
7. Tent.
6. Sleeping bag. Low of 50 degrees Sat Night. Not too bad really..
5. Your own spill proof mug if you're playing the Ace Race is a good idea. Two Hearted and PBR on tap and your entry fee includes free refills. Please folks.. Lets all work together ...

They were stolen from the practice area, and what they did was take the top rim part and the cage part off, and left the pole. It looks like they tried to chip the concrete away from the pole with a hammer, but that didn't work so they took the different sections.

So, which holes were they stolen from? Wasn't it just a couple weeks before the Harvest Moon last year when all the baskets were damaged?

Good info Jeff, that truck was Jim Scanes and GregBarrett was there too, they left around 9 that night, so the theft happened during the night or early wednesday morning. Thanks for the info

Baskets were still there at nightfall on tuesday, i was finishing up right at dusk. So they must have come up missing after that
. Silver chevy truck was the only thing left in the lot when we left. Dont know if that will help, but at least it narrows the time frame down.
