I got the okay to go tomorrow. Give me a call (816-805-3829). We can make plans on meeting and carpooling.

Let me know and we may be able to meet up at Mike's and car pool up there, or meet somewhere else.

Yeah, that would be great! I need to talk the Mrs. into letting me go. She kind of wanted to play the Hot Shots course on Sunday. I'm going to see if I can't talk her into letting me go with you guys.

You can still go and play. You would just be playing in the "field" division instead of the "champion" division. You don't even need a partner. You will just get paired up with others that are there. Last year Nick went and got to play, and we all had a blast. We were thinking of sticking around and playing another round afterwards as well. It is an awesome course and I highly recommend going if you can. Let me know and we may be able to meet somewhere and car pool.

I've never played Rockburn and would be interested in going up on Sunday. I'm assuming I won't be able to participate in the Doubles since I'm new. But can I get some more info?

Could have been worse, but 3 major trees have fallen down. 1 on hole 1 that barely missed the A basket. 2 on hole 5 that span the entire fairway and open up the alternate teepad drive. Here are some photos:

Yeah... wasn't that bad here. I saw one tree fall way in the distance, but thats it. More rain than wind. I'm going to check out the course later today -- 2ish.... will post again with a report.

Doing fine down here. We didn't even lose power once last night. We only had one neighbor with a tree on there roof. This beats the eight neighbors with trees on roofs we had last year. Looks like we got really lucky with a glancing blow from Sandy.

Everyone doing alright? We've still got power in Indian Head.

I should have gotten myself register, but I wasn't sure if I was going or not until late. I might just go to doubles instead.

Bryan, sorry I didn't respond earlier. I haven't been checking my account here very often at all. I did see the post the other day, and yes I am playing, but Kris isn't. I am also going down Saturday to play at a new course called "The Village" (I think) and staying with my parents. I signed up Monday and got in, but I checked yesterday and saw they had 72 already. You might be able to call and see if the limit is higher or what I don't know.

I'd want to just drive the morning of. I haven't registered for the tournament yet either. I guess it's filling up fast now.

A few weeks ago, I few people talked to me about going to the Hawk Hallow Open this Sunday. Are there still people interested? I'd be interested in car pooling. I haven't registered for it yet, but was looking into it.

I forgot to mention both the Ace Race and One-&-Done will be held on Saturday October 27. Registration/Check-in will begin at 9am. You do not have to play both. You can play one or the other, however the One-&-Done will begin promptly 1 hour after the Ace Race finishes. Anticipate the One-&-Done to start around 1:30pm and last 2 hours max.
