Garrett “DoubleG” Gurthie here!
I was on your club page and thought I would reach out.
My #1 passion is disc golf, but a close second is my love for high quality jerky. I have been making beef jerky for my friends and family since I was 16, and I am now taking my craft to the next level.
DoubleG Craft Jerky is an excellent item to include in a players pack, to sell at retail stores or to sell at your fly mart. Its healthy, has a shelf life of 1 year, tastes great and helps a go ... more

Hello fellow throwers. I am looking for an old dg friend of mine who was in your area about 16 years ago. His name is John Stewart. Tall and skinny friendly fellow. If you have any idea where he is or how I can get in touch with him, please call me, John Franklin, at 901 649-2071. John invited me to play a tourney with him there around that time, and we had a blast. Thanks for your hospitality during that tournament. You guys made me feel very welcome. I can still remember the hole by the water. It was a nice challenge.

John, you may want to try the "North Alabama Disc Golf" Facebook page. It's got 1700 members and one of them may be able to help you.

Thanks Justin. Going to try to play Redstone and at least 3 of those.

We do have a new course that just got tee pads, Southside. It is a fun course.

What are the odds of non-military playing Redstone on a Friday in November? Can you be sponsored or do you have to play with a member? Looking to be in the area in November and would really like to play this course. Thanks in advance for info.

Very probable if we plan a little bit ahead. What friday(s) are you looking at? As long as we plan a little in advance we should be good to go. This is a must play if you can.

The RCCG does not have access to the arsenal, so you must be accompanied by someone with access. Planning that far in advance you should be able to find someone to escort you on the base. You should also try the North Alabama Disc Golf page on Facebook. That is a very active group with several hundred area golfers

I can get you on anytime you like and I'm always available. My office is three minutes from the course and Mr. Speed and I generally play it a couple times a week. I live 12 minutes from the course and can get you on with a quick call.

Please vote (click the vote ten times box) for this attempt to bring disc golf to west Georgia. Regardless of where you live, it is a chance to grow our sport. Thanks http://www.state-assist.com/mobile/3/cause-details?cause=1403915
