Well everybody. I hate to do it but it seems the weather is not going to allow me to go foward with the NO GIMMICKS tourney. I hope that anyone that was hoping to come will choose to be at cascade for saturday singles instead and support cap city. Also please help spread the word for me. I oukd hate for people to whow up to a tourney and not have anybody there to run it. Again i apoligize and i hope to see you at the next one. PS. The road to keizer DGC is almost completly un-driveable. And totally snowed in.

Well everybody, its looking like no gimmicks is going to be a true ice bowl!!!! Come on down to keizer rapids at 9am tomorow mourning for a round of no gimmicks straight up stroke play. Im assuming only the die hards will show up but i hop to be proved wrong. If you have never played a round in the snow then your missing out. Hope to see you all there. Stay warm!!!!!

Putting out an APB on my first run Discraft Crank (looks just like this one: http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server100/yt68tfv9/products/1061/images/1456/dis_espCrank_firstRun__80982.1376599795.1280.1280.jpg). Hopefully whoever found it will call the number written on it. Lost it at Woodmansee on Saturday (Jan. 25th). I miss my baby! :(
The last hole I remember throwing it on was #4, which I birdied thanks to that awesome disc. Few things piss me off more than people just keeping discs with name/number on them. But I'll get over it.

Got some really good work done today out at Wheatland DGC. Weather was beautiful! Fairway 90% cleared. Still some more cutting needs to be done along with a lot of chipping. But we'd like to say "THANKS" to all that have helped out to this point but it's not finished quite yet.
Stay tuned for more work party news coming soon.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!!
GLOW LEAGUE THIS WEEK HAS BEEN CHANGED TO WILLAMETTE PARK IN CORVALLIS!
WE DIDNT RECIEVE PERMISSION FROM CAMPUS SECURITY/LEADERS AT THIS TIME. SO IT NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. MAYBE AT FUTURE DATE.
No dubs. 6:30 to allow people to get there since it's a farther drive.

Oh yes gonna bring in the new year with something crazy. 4 headed monster at Dallas city park. what is that you say? well its like a 3 headed monster but with a 4th. so this is gonna be a 20 hole layout. normal 18 with some twists and 2 added temp holes. so your still wondering what this 4headed monster is??? well its simple. each player has to use 5 of their drives. once a player has used all 5 of their drives they are no longer allowed to drive but can continue to putt and approach. so you ste ... more

Just getting back from Adair and good fun round. Also with big thanks out to Lee for driving and trailer we were able to pick up the two framed tee pads that we knew were for us. I had pleasant surprise 1/2 way or so thru my round when Jay Sexton met up with me to inform me we could also have 4 rolled up rubber pads and stakes to go with. This was a very pleasant surprise and we now have 6 rubber pads for CanyonView course till permanent ones get in. Big shout out to Willamette DGC, Lee for ... more

We will be going down to Adair this Sunday to join them for doubles and to pick up 2 of the framed tee pads being donated to Canyonview Camp course. Thanks to Lee for trailer and rig to pull it. Doubles start at 11:00. Anyone that wants to is welcome to join us for some rounds and loading pads on trailer.
Thank you in advance and Happy Holidays

Happy holidays to all this fine season. I am putting another call out to any and all folks with either graphic arts experience or wanting to help with future projects over the up coming years. Also looking for input to web site I am developing and publishing to the public soon. Got a good start going, looking for other opinions as to what the people would like to see presented on a site.
Reach me here if interested. Thanks in advance, just want to see our sport grow and improve for all.
Steve
I have a vinyl plotter and make vinyl decals Steve. I can make some decals if you need some. Not really what your looking for but thought I would throw it out there.
Why thank you for the info and offer, it is another thing on list of interests. Can you make multi colored window decal 1 layer like from an inkjet or such. Or are you more like cut different colored vinal and layer it? Thanks for heads up and we will talk more later.
I just do one color or layered colors. I cant do digital printing yet. Some day I hope. It's very expensive to get set up.
Steve Moore December 19, 2013 at 6:29am
I'd like to put a call of assistance to a project I am involved with. I have permission and am trying to find a way to move 2 of the old framed Adair tee pads to Canyonview Camp in Silverton. They are large and heavy and would mostly require trailer or flatbed setup. Also very heavy since 1 large framed piece, would require 3-4 healthy bodies to load and unload. Hope we figure out as a disc golf community how to get this project done. Thank you in advance.
Steve
Great idea Lee, keep it simple if at all possible. I'm reading this that you could provide trailer and towing rig for a day. If so that is excellent and you call a day and see if we can get bodies for a round at Adair and get them loaded. To all others that offerd up help, Thanks and it looks like it can and will happen. Thanks Lee
