Work Night 5/2/2019 @5PM Gaylord Course
We will be hosting our first Gaylord Disc Golf Course Work Night Thursday May 2nd at 5PM. Meet at the course entrance/Hole 1. Smith Equipment Rental & Trailer Sales is sponsoring the night and bringing us a wood chipper to clean up tree debris from the back 9. Please be ready to work and bring loppers, gloves, and any other tools you think we could use. This is our first big push to get all 18 up and running for the summer.

2018/2019 Update
It has been a busy Fall / Winter!! We officially have grown the Gaylord Course to 18 Chainstar Pro Baskets. It is installed and playable all winter. We will continue improvements in the spring.
Winter Marksman Putting League Details coming soon!! We will be playing Monday or Tuesday Nights around 6:30-7. Pre-Registration will go live this week 12/3....

Club Round & Worker Bee!
We will be playing the Gaylord DGC Course Wednesday Nights at 6:30. Format will vary week to week based on attendance. We are also going to work on mapping out, Marking, and Trimming out the Back 9. Please come have some fun and lend a hand.

Work Day - Gaylord Disc Golf Course 4/15/2017
Come get involved and help the Gaylord Disc Golf Club clean up and improve the Gaylord Disc Golf Course. We will be doing some Spring Cleaning on Saturday 4-15-2017 at 9 AM. We will be clearing out brush, downed trees, and other debris. We will have the GDGC work trailer and some larger equipment to aid us. April 1st, Course Work Day
Saturday April 1st at 9AM we will be meeting at the Gaylord Middle School Disc Golf Course. This will be a work day of getting the course ready for summer. Please bring rakes, shovels, trash bags, gloves, or anything else you think we may need to work. We will provide coffee and donuts for workers. Also plan on bringing your discs, as we will be playing a round or two after the work is done. Hope to see everyone there. Let's grow the sport!

March 14th, 2017 Putting Clinic/Practice/Club Meeting
On March 14th from 7-9 PM We will be hosting a putting clinic and open practice at the Otsego County Sportsplex. We will also have a club meeting to go over plans for this spring and season. Please park out front in the main parking lot. Also bring your putters. We will provide putters and baskets. Hope to see everyone there.

Week 1 of the GDGC Marksman Putting League was a Success!!
Thank you to everyone who made it out to our very First Gaylord Disc Golf Club event. We had a strong turn out of 13, which was great looking at the weather. We had a great time meeting new players and running a brand new format. Thank you to all the Players, Dynamic Discs, Snowbelt Brewing Company, and BC Pizza of Gaylord for a great event. Cannot wait for Week 2.

Official Gaylord Disc Golf Club Started...
It's the Official beginning of a local disc golf club for Gaylord, MI. Thank you to everyone involved. We hope to grow the sport in and around the Gaylord Area, and team up with other local clubs in Northern Michigan to create a great place to throw some discs. Please Share the news and invite people to join. We have a Putting League in the works as well. It will be hosted by the Gaylord Disc Golf Club. WORK DAY 10/19/2021 @ 10AM Till Dark / Finished
Work Day October 19th 2021. We will be working to prep the course for upcoming tournament play. We will also be moving a few Tees / Baskets to improve flow and safety. Also a few benches will be installed over the weekend as part of a local Eagle Scout Project. We plan to work from 10AM till Dark / Finished
