"Etowah / DeerField Disc Golf Club”

“Etowah & DeerField DGC” is a club for all players that enjoy playing and growing the great sport of disc golf. We play an organized “Etowah / DeerField Bag Tag Challenge” event each month in order to build course recognition and keep the annual members engaged in honing their disc golf skills. All the while, creating a fun and friendly environment for all levels of disc golfers. "Bag Tag Challenge" events are held once a month and are typically held on a Sunday in the afternoon. So please, come join our next event and have a good time, with great people!
Members Code of Conduct
1. All active members reserve the right to participate in any active challenge match.
2. Any member with a Bag Tag may challenge any other player with Bag Tag to a round of disc golf, regardless of their rank/number.
3. Members cannot avoid challenges.
4. Members being reported as avoiding 2 or more challenges will drop 5 ranks. Members missing 2 consecutive monthly “Etowah Bag Tag Challenge” events will drop 10 ranks upon missing their third monthly challenge event. Challenges may be made in person, by telephone or e-mail. When a challenge via telephone or e-mail has been accepted, neither player can participate in Casual challenges until the agreed upon match has taken place.
5. The player receiving the challenge can choose the course between Etowah/DeerField AND must make a “fair and reasonable” effort to be available within 2 weeks.
6. If the challenger cannot agree to a reasonable time or date for the match within the coming week, the challenge is void and both players may look for new challenges.
7. Once the challenge has been agreed upon, any changes must be agreed upon otherwise the match is void and must restart in agreement.
8. At the conclusion of the challenge round please report your results to a Etowah club member official for verification and certification. The club official will then update the tags.
9. Challenges are on a round-by-round basis; i.e. challenges are for one round only in a multiple round event, unless otherwise agreed upon prior.
10. All Etowah & Deerfield scheduled event(s) will be used as bag tag rounds as long as there are member participating in the event(s).
*Attention - This is an Army Corps of Engineers Park. So. its $5 to park daily or $40 for an annual pass. Please see the park station for prorated annual passes as of 10/1.
