**** LOST DFOK BAG TAG ALERT ****
This week I heard that DFOK Tag #10 has been lost. I also heard that it has been recovered by a different player.
If you have this tag please contact me as we would love to get it back into the current owners hands. I will be more than happy to meet you somewhere to pick it up.
If someone asks you if you can get this tag back to it's owner, please take it then contact me to arrange a pick-up.
Thanks,
Rick

Shout out to William Mitchell & Kevin Clouse for helping at last night's impromptu Fairmont Workday.
Thanks to last night's efforts, we now have a much cleaner #2 fairway, plus no more knuckle buster tree at the front of the #6 tee pad.

Disc vending machine: http://www.pdga.com/for-the-love-of-flying-discs-%E2%80%94-teeboxx-brings-fly-gear-to-the-point-of-play
Thats cool. But i think we should put one at the teebox to 14 at tuttle. that way you can restock once you put one in the lake.
Josh, That's hilarious & so true. Maybe the bottom rack in the vending machine could be used discs pulled from the lake. (ha)

This is not exactly "news", so I thought I would post it here.
Riley County has begun removing our brush piles from Fairmont Park.
Yeah!

Our Fairmont course expansion project made the local news on Tuesday, April 22nd.

Later today, I'll post Official Club News spelling out the details of our project fund raising "Fairway Sponsorship Campaign".
These are exciting time in the Manhattan area for disc golf! Stay tuned.

We will need 6 more portable baskets for the tournament. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!
I can bring at least one. I have another at my parents' house that I'll try to grab on my way over there.
If ya can't find enough, I have a couple. However, I can't be there for the duration so arrangements would need to be made.
I have both baskets in my truck. I'll bring them in the morning.

Please get yourselves registered for "Break the Chains" it is THIS SATURDAY! Pre-registering makes my job LOTS EASIER, plus it WAY SPEEDS UP the time between the last round and the prizes being awarded!
Go to KSULCM.ORG
Thanks!

A tip of the hat to the following people who made time in their schedules to put in some hard work at yesterday's Fairmont Park Work Day.
Jon Tveite
Daisuke Takahashi
Mark Kewley
Hours of work now to create something countless people will enjoy for decades... time well spent.
(ya, I was there too)

Is break the chains 2013 going to listed on here?
No. Break the Chains is NOT a Disc Fanatics of Kansas event. It is a production of the Lutheran Campus Ministry. You will need to contact Kevin Clark, or watch for it on their page. ( http://www.discgolfscene.com/clubs/Lutheran_Campus_Ministry_at_Kansas_State_University )

Buy two get one free on all discs at hastings, in case anyone is needing some new plastic!
Doh! Now I know where everyone is instead of League! (But seriously, thanks for the sale alert)
Just went and checked it out, they are basically cleaned out of Innova. Not seeing anything that suits my fancy in Discraft, but I don't throw very much of it... Happy hunting!

we now have 18 holes...tried to get a full round in today but got interrupted. No tee signs yet on the new holes so if anyone comes down, get a hold of dakota or I and we will be glad to show you around. There are now alternates on 4, 6, soon to be 7, 8, 10, and 13. Technically there are 17 baskets....we are currently using one twice.
Can we get some people to sit with their backs to us next to fairway 3 to make Jon nervous?

I posted pictures of all the holes at Westmoreland's course today was a good time and if anyone was interested now you can see before you go

Good luck to all DFOK members who are playing in this weekends Glass Blown Open.
That's a big time tournament that takes a big time performance to compete.
For those of you who are not playing, it's totally worth it to go watch for a while.
Go see the biggest pro's in the sport... I highly recommend watching them play the Country Club course.

Looks like the GBO player's pack is nice: http://www.dgcoursereview.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83557&page=5

I ordered a DFOK shirt like this today: http://www.discgolfscene.com/profile/10252/pictures/album_7907/145683#145683
at GTM. They have the logo in the system if you want one. The shirt has to be Green, Black, or White only (DFOK colors).
AND, if DFOK is okay with it you can get sport grip in just white or black or both for cheaper than what I'm assuming is embroidery Mark?
Wow! I got a call before noon that my shirt was ready! At one time it was decided that only Black, Green, and White were ok. Someone is wanting to include another color. Probably need some sort of group decision.

I'll be bringing a box full of plastic tomorrow for Warner Wednesday ::: Innova, Discraft, and Millennium ::: Also have some leftover Gateway Karmas from the Spring Invitational ::: Price Range $10-17 (see my photo albums for a list of inventory)
Good News! The lost tag has been found & returned to it's current holder... Thanks to Bob Saber!
