Last Deuce or Die Dubs

2020 Season
Hi All the 2020 season gets under way April 4 with the first Match Play Challenge event at M Broadway on the North course. Just $20 per player for your 2 player teams. Doubles and singles in the same event with 100% cash payout!
Sunday Match Play league at M Broadway gets started on April 5th, please come early to get registered tee off is at 10am.
Match Play league at Cade lake begins Thursday the 9th of April, tee off at 5:30, please come early if you can to get registered.

Putting league
Putting league starts Jan 20 at our building in 3 Rivers. doors open at 6 matches start at 6:30. First 2 week wills be organizing with team matches starting on Feb 3 for a 6 week season! We have room for 4-6 teams min 2 players per team max of 4. Weekly fee is $5 with 100% payout on finals night! One time reg fee of $5 per player to cover heat and lights.

League play is under way for the Sunday league at M Broadway and Travel League, next stop Oshtemo! The Deadwood league will begin play April 25th at Cade Lake Co. park. Play in all our leagues and earn points for the Club Championship. Just $10 to join any league and that $10 allows you to play any of our leagues as a member.

Club Dead Points Championship
For those unaware when you join any of our leagues as a member your points are automatically tabulated in the Club Points Championship. Your points from Sunday Match Play, Travel League(MPC), and Cade Lake all go to your individual points total for the Club Points Championship. First place in the points championship will be worth $100 cash!

Sunday league also starts this weekend with tee off on the North for doubles at 10. please show up early to get registered and so we can draw teams. I'll be there by 9:30. Yes I know Sunday is Easter so if you can't make it Sunday you can play the MPC event on Saturday and I'll count your doubles round for Sunday league and bank your singles for later.

Spring is Coming
It's been a busy Winter, design was finalized and work has begun on the new course at Cade lake. We hope to have the baskets soon thanks to a fund raising effort by the City of Sturgis and local disc golfers. Tim Sylvain has been leading the clearing efforts while I have been recovering from hip replacement surgery. I'm looking forward to getting out for the next workday! Congratulations are in order for Courtney Feister our 2017 League Champion! Courtney defeated Ricardo Miller in the championship match while Eric Dingman prevailed in the match for 3rd over Josh (Dutch) Vandervries.

Last Warning for the Shoot-Out
This is the last warning for those of you with invites to the 2011 Shoot-Out. Friday at Midnight is the deadline to get your entry fee to Scott or pay at the website http://clubdeaddiscgolf.com. On Saturday April 2nd I will announce the waiting list players who are invited, they will have until May 1st to get their entry fee in. After May 1st IF any spots are available, players who missed their deadline will be eligible to try again through open registration.

Club Dead Shoot-Out Invitational
We are excited to announce the Club Dead Shoot-Out will now be an invitation only match play event. The field will be limited to 32 elite players each year and the event will rotate between some of the best courses in MI. The 2011 event will be played at Bluegill, with M Broadway, Oshtemo and Big Bend as courses in future years. The Shoot-Out Invitational will also be a qualifying event for the 2012 MI Match Play Championships to be held at M Broadway.

Clearing has begun at Lawless
Scott and I cleared the new 14th hole at Lawless Saturday (current 18th basket). It's an uphill anhyzer...should be a cool hole. Not sure when we're going out again, but would appreciate some help. : )

Lawless rebuild begins
Construction on the "new" Dr. Lawless layout will begin Saturday, May 30. Scott and I will be there at ten am.
