I played up at sleepy last weekend and I saw the path of destruction myself. Is that something they do annually? I don't think it was like that last year. Obviously it was for whatever pipeline it is that runs under there, but they took down some important obstacles in the process. The big bush on the top of the hill on 8 is gone, and the foliage along the left side of the hill of 12 is leveled with the tree on the right side of the fairway closer to the basket gone as well.

I figured since the whole stretch of land along the pipe was cleared that they wanted to keep the vegetation under control so that roots don't interfere with the line itself. But I suppose they could be clearing the land to do something else as well. I wonder if a private company is in charge of that, or the govt since its a state park.

i was pretty bummed to see Sleepy Hallow got a crazy harsh mow job through the middle of the course. anyone know if they are planning on doing anything else up there?

AWWWW. It's my grandmas 90th birthday on Saturday, or I'd come throw down some help. Guess I'll show up later and just enjoy the fruit of ya'lls labor. MSU was always a good fundamentals/wind control course, and the only one I could play in an hr after work this time of year. Very cool news!

The Ti plastic feels a lot like the Lat 64 GoldLine plastic, in the hand I would say it feels like stiff star plastic. The Ti plastic tends to make the mold a touch more stable than counterparts in other plastics as well, sometimes it's just barely noticeable like with the buzz and wasp, other times its HUGE like with the nuke.

Ace Race again at DeWitt next week. 5pm tee off next week. 3 rounds from the short tees. Only one throw per hole. No 2nd shots or putts unless you want to be disqualified from throwing the next hole. It also allows for faster flow. All aces split the cash. If no aces are hit, the 2 people with the most dots will get paid out 1st and 2nd cash places. If there is a tie for those spots, those dots will throw a CTP for the cash spots.

Danny, if you are rivals with someone, you both need to post your scores from the same day at the same course on your individual pages and it should show up in the rivalry scores.

im sure that wasn't part of some annual maintenance, i just hope there isnt more to come, like they were clearing things out to begin digging to put more lines in or something
