Hey Joe! I contacted you in May about to discs I lost in the water at the Fighting your fight for a cure doubles tournament on May 14th. You told me you had them both (the Red Nuke OS with the ace on it and the yellow Detroit stamped wizard) and I was wondering if you still had those or not. I will be participating in the Collegiate qualifier tournament this weekend representing CMU and would love to be able to retrieve that from you this weekend if you still had it. Thanks a lot!

Most likely still in there. I had them set out for months then gave up on you

Tyler Huyghe   September 20, 2016 at 11:26am

I apologize for that and appreciate you setting them out for me. Hopefully you still have them and I could retrieve them this weekend!

Hey Joe, I played in the Fundraiser tournament yesterday with my dad and we both lost a disc. I lost my red Nuke OS with an ace on it on hole 10 in the water to the right of the dead tree to the right of the basket. It's probably about 8-10 feet away from that tree. My dad lost his RFF yellow detroit stamped wizard in the pond to the left of the basket on the straight downhill hole. I had a great time playing your beautiful course by the way and appreciate the opportunity to play it!

Sweet. If you ever come across that let me know!

Joe BlueGill   May 20, 2016 at 8:02am

have them both

Tyler Huyghe   May 20, 2016 at 9:26am

Sweet! I'm going to see what my best options are to getting to you to snag those!

I put a star Teebird in the second pond, short of the green by the tree. Name, phone # and PDGA # are on it. Stamp says "North Woods Disc Chuckers - Trash Bash 2012" - any chance this has been found? I'm happy to pay for it's return.

The return of lost property is long viewed as a mark of honor and high standing in large and small societies. At BlueGill this has been celebrated and even ritualized under our High-Priest Joe. Violations of the return code hurt more than the price of a single disc; suffering most is the one who values belongings over "belonging".

Left a bronze-color Ti Mini-Magnet on hole 14 yesterday. It was left of the fairway and 40 feet short of the pin. Only reason I really care about this mini is because it was from last years ace race

Lost a NUKE SS, Silver Ti - on 24, Yesterday at left side thicket about 250' from tee. Punishment too appauling for a deep search. I might hope for some recovery next February, but earlier would amaze!

I wanna know who is going in the water on 9 and taking any disc they find and keeping it! I put a putter in last week that had an ace on that same hole marked on the disc and someone had the nerve to take it and not turn it in! 2nd putter I've never gotten back from just out of reach of the grabber on 9

There may be another explanation...turtles? If not, how about random bag-checks as a condition of play on private property? My observation about such misbehavior is that more than one person knows about it. They are also responsible for your loss.
