Hey guys. Tomorrow night is our final "regular season" league for this series. The final event is Sunday. Top 25(ish) in points will qualify. If you look at the leaderboard you'll see that there's a good chance for those of you who have never played in this league to still qualify for finals. So I'm looking forward to seeing some "new" faces tomorrow night and again on Sunday for the big finale. As usual I'll probably be making it rain with CTP prizes and ... more

The newsletter is a great addition to keep membership informed and involved- it looks great Toni! Thank you Alaska Disc Golf Association for recently recognizing and adding me as an honorary member. Disc golf in Alaska will always have a place in my heart and I wish you the best in continuing to grow our great sport.

Jake Haskin    April 5, 2014 at 8:31pm

Update on great land cup, convinced ugly to change the dates to the 6th/7th to not conflict with tall grass. Hope more of y'all can make it!!! It's awesome...

Toni Osiecki   April 7, 2014 at 1:24am

I left a Vibram Trak on Hole 11 yesterday...right side of fairway past the fallen cottonwood, bout 70' from basket. If anybody out there today, please give a a check for me. Thank you. A good beer reward.

Tay Harling   April 5, 2014 at 3:16pm

At PC?

Adam Klein   April 5, 2014 at 5:06pm

LMAO....sorry, at Kincaid...hadn't had my coffee yet when I posted.

Greg Rouse    April 5, 2014 at 5:47am

Insanely early registration is now open for my tournament, the Alcantra Open. You can also pay via paypal but cash is recommended and preferred, and you won't have to pay the fees. Otherwise just post your name and division as usual. Once I get a better idea of how many people plan to make it I may split it into 3 divisions.

Jake Haskin    April 4, 2014 at 8:52pm

Start Savin up now people!!! Great land cup in Juneau sept 13-14, awesome/super tough course, and best time you'll have at a tourney guarenteed

Google+ ADGA page...currently has 2014 Tournament Schedule and Events Calendar. You find upcoming events (meetings, course work days, etc.) on this page until ADGA website update.

Greg Rouse   April 5, 2014 at 1:52am

It's not working for me. Also do you have a printable sheet listing all ADGAs tournaments? I'd put a few up at alcantra and at some local sporting goods retailers.

Adam Klein   April 5, 2014 at 3:01pm

Hi Greg, sorry it is not working for you I will check that out. Plus I will get the schedule posted on here. Trying to get to G+ set up so it is a one stop data base.

Adam Klein   April 6, 2014 at 3:36am

@Kurtis-- I will gladly get the ADGA tournaments registered with DG Scene as soon as I have the ability to give TD's staff status so their names are posted as the TD.

Adam Klein    April 1, 2014 at 6:38pm

Here you go! No problem losing your discs at the peak of summer....haha!

Hello ADGA members, we will be holding our next meeting on Tuesday April 1st, 7:00 PM, at American Legion Post 28. The address is 7001 Brayton Drive. Please be advised that this is a PRIVATE members-only club, so we will all need to sign in as Eric Hepola's guests. The sign in will be on your right after you walk in. The board has also decided that our meetings will now be "dry", so if you'd like to enjoy an adult beverage you'll need to arrive before the meeting or stay afterward. No alcohol will be permitted inside the meeting. Thanks again and we'll see you there!

Anyone down for a late night game at the goon or service?? Lookin Togo at around 8.

Adam Klein    March 14, 2014 at 1:56am

Addressing the March meeting….Simply, the March meeting was at a bad time for majority of the board with Memorial, Fur Rondy tourney, etc. I felt it was important for the officers to get together before having our next membership meeting. Since everybody’s time is valuable, I feel it is important that our meetings are productive and efficient. The board as a whole has a sizable to-do list to tackle and that is going to take time. It is better to have a meeting when we are prepared ... more

Thad Murgatroyd   March 13, 2014 at 7:05pm

How was there a conflict ? The last meeting was feb 25th and they take place bi weekly as needed . I posted on dgscene the schedule over a week prior to our last meeting and our meetings are just tourney planning for this summer and can be held after any ADGA meetings

Thad Murgatroyd   March 13, 2014 at 7:17pm

If it avoids future schedule conflict we can move our meetings to a different day of the week , likely Thursday if it helps

Adam Klein   March 13, 2014 at 9:37pm

Thad, the conflict of which Toni was stating came from my assumption the Hilltop club was meeting every other week and I wanted to be available. Unfortunately, but fortunately for me, I had to work Tues. or I would have showed up to no one there, chuckle. I do not believe a reschedule on your part is necessary, but thank you for offering that.

Jeremy Boyd   March 18, 2014 at 12:24pm

Sorry we didn't make it out this weekend guys, the snow storm made conditions pretty questionable on the time though for sure

Tre Jones   March 20, 2014 at 2:07am

its okay, we got quite a bit done and it wont be the last work party for sure. :D just watch here and the fb page and we will post more times.

Greg Rouse    March 10, 2014 at 6:11am

It seems there's a gstar frenzy of sorts going on... You guys should check out the factory seconds at the innova pro shop. They're like 6 bucks cheaper apiece. Also they have some other sick stuff... Gummy champion glow boss, anyone?

Jeremy Boyd   March 10, 2014 at 4:29pm

They need to run me some GStar Firebirds.

Jeremy Boyd   March 10, 2014 at 4:30pm

Oh, and some FDs too. Are you listening Innova?

Greg Rouse   March 10, 2014 at 11:48pm

I'd love a gstar 'bird. It would definitely do what my flx avenger won't.

Tre Jones    March 10, 2014 at 1:49am

I figured he was out. I went through my boxes of beauties last night and saw the 50 in 50 disc. Wish I had another one. I'd be quick to let it go. Good luck!
