when you reach back your bending your elbow, keep it straight and use your hips. It will increase distance.

yeh what chris said and extend your arm all the way back on your reach back and come straight through the ab area not the shoulders on your throw, it'll give you more power and accuracy if you stick with it and learn that form, watch will schusterick's driving tutorial
