Before this tournament link is out-dated, I would like to say THANK YOU to The Ladies of Independence Disc Golf for making the lunch so easy to get to and made sure we all had plenty to eat. The gratitude of the "Locals" who were invited to share our lunch was obvious on thier faces. What a great gesture and a very kind thing to do. Lets do this again next year!!

Great time at the Tots For Tots Tourney, Josh!! All the toys and food will go a long ways towards making some local families Christmas a lot brighter. Congrats to Dusty with a -9 to win Open!!!! Thanks to everyone who came out and made the tourney a nice day to be golfing. Nicely done, Josh!! And to all the folks who brought lunch for all.

Thomas "T" D.    December 16, 2012 at 8:09am

72 degrees and balmy today at Leverich...ok, its not warm and balmy today but dont let that stop you from playing or donating to the Toys For Tots tourney!! If you're not the rainy day type of disc golfer, bring a toy and a canned food donation to the park. Its a great cause and its for Christmas so unless your a Grinch hiding in a cave with your dog Max, help make a Merry Christmas for local families who are a bit less fortunate.

josh pierce    December 14, 2012 at 5:03pm

With this awesome suppport and the great turnout we could use some more people to make a pot of soup or chili to feed some of the players and any of the homeless people that may be in the park. Also if you have a hookup for paper bowls or spoons!
If you can help with this please let me know asap
We also have some juniors coming out as young as 5yrs old and would love to have more
DONT forget your toy and canned food!!!
Thank you

No matter what the weather (it's December in Oregon, let's disc golf!!), any and all donations go to the local community to make a brighter Christmas for local families that cant otherwise afford or be able to enjoy the Season.
