So i deleted the qdoba sponsorship, i have been working there the past couple months as caterer but unfotunately for them their company is in shambles, But no worries! Kristy and i will either make the food, just like a burrito bar and we will still have lunch for all the ladies, Or if anyone had ideas let me know! Sorry for the inconvenience but i will get us covered no matter what ;)

I just wanted to say that I have not spent this much time on DG Scene in a long time. I can't help myself, because even though we're still a few months out, I love the fact that this number continues to grow. I vote that we give a special prize to the number 20 lady.. I'm pumped that we busted out the double digits, but if we go over 20 I may just be overwhelmed with happiness.

Just got word from Mike Gates owner of the local Disc Golf Mart and he's going to sponsor and donate some gift certificates and some other goodies we can raffle! We are some lucky ladies! Katie and I are also talking to tons of other companies to get some more sponsorships and donations. Fingers crossed for some awesome goodies :)

Looking forward to playing with all the ladies! Just as an FYI, the campsite is not within walking distance of the course. You'll have to drive. Approximately 2 miles away. There is a 9-hole rec course at the campsite entrance if you are interested. I have secured a highly collectible Pilsner mini pole hole (sort of a bag tag, rear view mirror tchotchke) for each entrant. Ok so, I've spent my day off harassing possible sponsors for this event. Ha. A special thanks goes out to Strange Discs, AceHigh Throwers Company and Jen Dom who have generously donated some items to this event. Let me know if you ladies have any leads, or if anyone has already agreed to donation and I'll add them to the sponsor's list.

So far dgnomad has offered to donate bag tags, Circles Edge Disc Golf is going to donate a couple t-shirts and i'm waiting on a few more responses, I'll also be donating a couple pieces of art work, i'll keep everyone updated when I find out more. Woot! Lets get all the ladies we can signed up!!
