For years I have heard that people would have played but they had to work a half day on Saturdays. A late start would provide them an opportunity to still play. However, if the masses want an earlier start like 10 ish, I am not opposed to that either...

I think a round of 18 and 9 could fly, possibly even not shuffling cards. Quick break for something to eat drink, to brag/whine about your score, and then back out for a final 9. Even send some divisions to the front, while others play the back, and 9 holes should take 45 minutes tops, even in a tournament format. Just a thought. I'm not sure, but hoping to attend.

I seem to remember being done around 3ish for the ice bowl. if we tee ff around 930-10, with a round of 18 and a 9, we can hit that again. We aren't going to have even half of what the ice bowl turn out was, so the rounds should go relatively quick. I was just trying to plan out if I should take the whole day off, or just the morning and make it to work by 4. But my vote goes for early start, 18 and a 9. But I'm also happy with whatever you decide John, you're running things, not me :)

if we are only playing one round why are we starting so late? start at regular tourny tee time and throw in the final nine, we were done at a decent time for the icebowl....yes?

Also toying ith the format this year. We are starting much later and only playing 1 round. Maybe, I can be talked into a final 9 but it depends on what the masses want. Remember, it is a busy weekend, we should have snow by then, and people like to get home and go out on Saturday night. Thoughts?

This is the 9th Annual and it has always been on a Saturday for as long as I remember. If you type in "turn up the heat" in the Scene Search bar above and to the right, the last 4 years's events pop in.

I just don't remember it on a sat. I usually had to work, and i normally wouldn't take it off for an unsanctioned...oh well, I do believe i'm gonna try to make it.

I'm not sure to be honest with you Brandon, but it was on a Saturday last year too.
