Teams having more than 4 players are encouraged to bring more! Odd players will still get to compete for prizes and gain experience competing in this format! Besides.....this is one of the sweetest courses in the country and the weather will be ideal!

In the afternoon at BG on Sat and the morning at Oshtemo, teams will play singles. Each team will count only the three best singles scores. Therefore, a team having only three players for the singles rounds could compete.

FORMAT: Teams will play doubles in the morning. The format pits two college teams against each other in alternate-shot.
Each team will decide which two players will tee from even holes, and which from odd on the 24 hole course. Then alternate from there. This format allows for a team of two or three to represent their school in the dubs.

I am assuming $120 for the team?
Yes. Or, $30 per person should you bring a team comprised of less than 4 players.

how many team members need to play 2 3 or 4.
We have two berths to award. Good thing is, because FSU qualified with a strong finish, the two berths will go to two other teams-- which will definitely improve your odds.
Let me clarify. FSU qualified with a strong finish at the 2013 Nats.
While a team can compete with two players in the doubles because of the team alternate shot format, you will really need at least 3 for the singles.....The teams with 4 will just take the best 3 scores....So, you'll really need 3 to be competitive in the singles rounds.

Joe said u might do a side tourney .... ?
Yep. Probably match play or dubs.....to tee off after the college teams....while they play 24, we'd play 18
I second that!
Way to represent, Pat! Lets work together to double the number of teams next year. Between EMU, WMU, and FSU, I like our chances of bringing a National Championship back to Michigan!
Lets do it!!!! Pure Michigan Style!!!
