Players who have become ineligible for a division due to a ratings update may participate for two weeks following the update, provided they are pre-registered for the event in question, at the discretion of the Tournament Director.Aug 27 is 2 weeks after the Ratings update. So this dose not apply.+

Mike Jaskiewicz   August 15, 2013 at 2:57pm

I'm definitely not worried about it lol, I dropped from 892 to 890 and still playing am2!!

Fred Vocino   August 16, 2013 at 11:29am

How can Jason worry about sandbagging claims when he intends to move-up?. Baggers hang back.

Davis _    August 14, 2013 at 5:31am

Does Pool C play flip city or west shore second round? Both are listed on the about page.

I see where the error is. I am almost certain it is flip 2nd round. I will double check in the morning

Jeff Schwass   August 14, 2013 at 1:35pm

That was an error- it is Flip City and has been corrected

Davis _   August 14, 2013 at 2:01pm

sweet!

Mike Durco    August 14, 2013 at 12:11am

Please tell me we are not playing 20 holes at Leviathan... The 18 hole layout is good. That 1st alt is a really, really crappy hole and there is no need for us to play it or the next hole. Esp. with bumpy, lumpy natural tees. These 2 holes are not worthy of our State Championship. No need for them in this event.

we are in the process of making the Longs 24 holes- in the future these holes will be improved and have cement- cant do everything at once- we have to pay for EVERYTHING we do- we get no help with any improvements to our courses

Mike Durco   August 16, 2013 at 11:37am

OK. That sounds good. I totally understand the need for playing these holes if the pool size dictates the need. Widening of the 1st hole is really what needs to happen. There just needs to be a landing area and no hanging random branches in the fairway. And the tees needs to be marked. They were not last yr. Thanks for all that you do Jeff!

Jeff Schwass   August 16, 2013 at 11:39am

yep- that got missed- we are trying to make that a nice 24 hole course like all the others- just takes to much damn time!!

Travis tullis    August 12, 2013 at 6:02pm

So do we play Saturday and Sunday or Sunday and Monday like the about page says? Little confused

Ok good that is what I had planned for and got on to check the updates and saw it was different in the schedule. Thanks for clearing it up.

Jeff Schwass   August 12, 2013 at 12:24pm

something got screwed up- it has been corrected on "about"

Eirik Kauserud   August 12, 2013 at 1:27pm

Not to say making it 3 days wouldn't be fun as ****.

Stuart Agranove    August 11, 2013 at 5:34am

So where is the best deal on a hotel in the area of all the courses?

Chris Booker   August 10, 2013 at 9:49pm

Baymont Inn & Suites Ludington is where me and my wife will be staying.. Right in the middle of all the courses.. and just off the freeway.

Adam Geise   August 10, 2013 at 11:48pm

there are allot of hotels on us 10. all are reasonably priced.

Adam Geise   August 11, 2013 at 12:43am

http://alturl.com/9fcnu Here is a list with prices for 2 nights that weekend, change the calendar accordingly. Many have pdga discounts so call ahead to reserve.

Will the public library in Grand Rapids let me use their computers to register on-line?

Jason Kirkaldy   August 12, 2013 at 3:25pm

can I be drunk for this event?

Amateur Hour   August 12, 2013 at 8:01pm

Only am 3 n 4 can get wasted during event

Fred Vocino    August 10, 2013 at 8:49am

I think I'm ready to travel to practice the courses set for the MS1 division, now that I see a new address given for Scottville. Clicking "get directions" will get you to church in Scottville; so, you need to clean-up the street address that appears on DGS's drop down box. That will put you near the marker for Riverside Park, which is a little north of two parking lot entrances (1 west, 1 east). I'll try each, as the usual satellite tee-pad images weren't visible on google maps.

Thanks Jeff. Disregard the Keep Out sign - that's funny. How about "Flying Discs" on a sign just below it.

Jeff Schwass   August 14, 2013 at 1:47pm

Yes it does say keep out! Ive corrected/added all street addresses to the courses- I would trust those but I did not put in those gps coor

Fred Vocino   August 14, 2013 at 4:49pm

I'm good to get to each course. Look for reg for LCQ if I don't get a berth. Much thanks.

Wade Grost will want to play Junior I. Does that mean he'll need to play the LCQ?

Jeff Schwass   July 31, 2013 at 11:50am

yes he will- this pool usually doesnt fill but he will need to at least sign up for lcq

Fred Vocino    July 27, 2013 at 7:13am

It might help to improve the precision of the directions given for the courses. Mason Co. Park shows as Campground or Buttersville. West Shore shows as Ice Arena. Scotttville shows either middle of the street, isolated forest, or private front yard. I can place the first, ask-around for the second, but Scottville would be futile.

Jacob Turner    July 23, 2013 at 12:16am

I was wondering if there would be a MJ1 division or MJ2 is the first one

Jeff Schwass   July 24, 2013 at 11:20am

we usually run one divsion- got to have 3 to create that division- we will ask juniors as they sign up and if we can split it by age we will

Jacob Turner   July 24, 2013 at 11:32am

Ok because i am 19 (for the calender year) and was kind of hoping to play one MJ1 event before I no longer can.

Mike "The Giraffe" Rohloff    July 22, 2013 at 1:01am
