This wasnt a PDGA tournment. It was a Zac Teuscher chairity fundraiser tournment. He stole $10 from every person there(like 80 people=$800) and probably all the donated food too.

First of all for the ladies coming into the conversation... More to the story jenn? What is left to tell? Ive been playing tournaments for 5 years, I have been a TD myself. Once you submit all of the correct information to the PDGA in which they provide guidelines to submit correctly the tournament falls into the "official results" category. Unless 2 things, you A. have not paid the pdga dues for the tournament ( the pdga takes a cut of entry from each player for the insurance they provide) B. The information was not submitted correctly. The blame has been put on the pdga but all in all the pdga doesnt care if you choose to not follow their instructions or not. No tournament i have played in the last 5 years has ever taken almost 7 months to post.

He has admitted to getting information back from the PDGA saying he submitted the scores incorrectly twice and will not work with them to get assistance as a new TD with submitting this correctly. He has admitted to getting information back from the PDGA saying he submitted the scores incorrectly twice and will not work with them to get assistance as a new TD with submitting this correctly. I'm not calling him a theif by any means but he DEFINITELY under estimated the cost of a tournament and i can almost guarantee you instead of paying the fee's he had to use that money to recoup what he lost OR like i said he hasnt worked with pdga to get the scores submitted correctly.

While some view tournaments as a fun weekend with friends some players take this game very seriously and want to succeed at all costs. They self sacrifice and work towards their goals and to take that away from them is unprofessional and projects and outward appearance of frankly not giving a **** about your local disc golf community personal problems or not.

Hopefully it's only a matter of the scores being submitted correctly and the PDGA will be willing to work with someone who can partner with Zac to get it cleaned up.

All in all i could care less about the tournament results to be honest with you, its not me im arguing or standing up for. Its the people that won or someone like van fleet shooting his first 1000+ rated round and to not have that be in permanently on your pdga sucks balls.

He has made no attempt to apologize and return the money back to the players.. Nor has he done his job as a TD.. All I did was point out he lied just last update when he said he took care of it!! THE END!! He now to me personally has lied.. And as far as I'm concerned stole for every paid player.!!

Well I need to step in here. Yes there were many and still is some issues with the event. The part I want to clarify for all is the food bank did receive 338 lbs of food stuff and $125 dollars cash. If anyone else had taken time to check with food bank directly, this information is public. That is all from me on this topic. There was success in getting food and some cash to food bank

The worst part is that if it was to be a fundraiser for Marion-Polk Food Share then they are the big losers because even if he did donate all of the food and money raised, no one will sign up for the next one so no more money or food donation for them.

Any other club run tournament, the financials are completely public. I would venture to say if you talk to any TD who has run a PDGA event, that they would provide you with the specific accounting of every dollar. Certainly someone else could hold an event....I just might.

Absolutely! Electing a trusted treasurer separate from from sanctioned host may be a great consideration as well. It would be fabulous to see some awesome events put together! Very cool to have charity events put into place.

You can always contact pdga and explain the situation. Maybe whoever the td was won't be allowed to run any more pdga sanctioned events. There are timelines to have results sent into the pdga.

Can you explain the scoring tent on hole 8?

My plan is to have a person laptop and a laptop there. As the card walks by the person will input the scores from each card. Back at tourney central another screen would update and online and players/spectators can see where they are kinda mid-round.
