Disc golf singles tournament
About this tournament
Format and payouts are as follows:
The 32 players who qualify to compete in this event will play, two, back-to-back, 18 hole matches paring the field down to the final 8.
After lunch, the 24 players who have been eliminated will play one 18-hole round of random draw doubles with 1st place netting $400, 2nd $300, 3rd $200 and 4th $100, while the final 8 play one more 18 hold match narrowing the field to 4.
On Sunday, the 28 players who have been eliminated play another 18 hole round of random draw doubles for the same payouts as the day before, while the final 4 play two, back-to-back 18 hole matches for the following payouts:

Congratulations to the Final Four! Playing for a purse of $2,000 with 1st winning $1,000, are Pat Hawks playing Simon Porritt in one Semifinal and Josh Taylor playing Brandon Ellis in the other Semifinal! And congratulations to The amount Pleasant Disc Golf club who is running away with the team championships leading the second place team from Bluegill by 7 points!

Currently there us one paid player on the wait list who will take the spot of any player who has not checked in by 8:20. To get on that wait list, contact me ASAP, and be there at 8:00 ready to play!

I have made dinner reservations for the Mountain Town Station Brewing Co & Steakhouse for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27th. Let me know if you'd like to join us for dinner. The brackets for the Championships will be drawn at 8:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

NOTE: Heads up all. The MIDGC Finals has been moved from April 26th to April 27th. Still at Big Bend Park. Registration at 9:00, tee off at 9:30. $300 book scholarship on the line as well as the Bulldog Tag Challenge. MDGO Berths will also go to the top 3 student points winners. This event is open to all and free to play. Points earned in matches count toward qualifying to compete in the 3rd Annual Michigan Match Play Championships. Any of the 8 at-large berths not secured by May 31st, will be awarded on a first-paid basis to ANY player who has earned qualifying points.
