Sedgley is well known as one of the original permanent courses dating back to 1977, at the games inception..The Phillips Open is one of the oldest tournaments on the schedule, The Philly Open is a (Professional Disc Golf Association) B-Tier event held annually at the historic Sedgley Woods Disc Golf Course in East Fairmount Park. This year the stakes are raised with over $1000 added to the pro purse. Pro women will receive a player's pack valued at $47 and are guaranteed at least $20 upon finishing the event..We would like to have the largest open female field we've ever had.
