Trophies

Paul Compton-PortlandMobileDiscLab   September 21, 2014 at 5:04pm

140$ for trophies, 100$ for bonus category payouts (Constellation points, etc.), 100$ for raffle prizes at cost, and twice during the year we paid out the 1$ during the round instead of keeping it for the series payouts. Is this what you're wondering about?

TD, thanks for your help reading cards (though I guess that made us two old guys with glasses, hmm, maybe not optimal, lol). And most definitely thanks for the kind words. And congrats on your continued streak of throwing aces and taking cashes!

Thomas "T" D.   March 23, 2014 at 12:22am

I prefer to be labeled as an Original but you are The Commander.lol Glad to be of any help and thank you for the props. A great time everytime and I think that is most important for any event. I'll see you at Dub DeBrie and at SpAce Race Part Deux!!

Paul Compton-PortlandMobileDiscLab    March 23, 2014 at 7:17am

All right all you ringers! If you want your results posted and I don't have your email/pdga# from last year, message me with it. I'll post results sometime tomorrow. Congrats to all the usual suspects and a few new faces!

Happy SpAce Race Eve! And now for a couple of teasers...
Have you seen the new muffin buckets? Yes and no. Prepare to be SpAced out by their muffin studdedness.
Is there a new way to score points in the aces/metal category that you haven't heard of? Yes, there is. Tractor Beam Points. Any guesses on how you score them? They are worth one point...

I'm bringing DOUBLE THE MUFFINS, yo -- 48. If your group knocks off more than 48 muffin buckets I will deliver an extra dozen to your tourney in Dallas the next day, lol.

Paul Compton-PortlandMobileDiscLab   March 17, 2014 at 11:41pm

Double the muffins, double the fun.

Mike Wilson   March 18, 2014 at 12:06am

Hell I hope to hit 1 ace and 5 metal/buckets! That would be huge for me.

Paul Compton-PortlandMobileDiscLab    March 18, 2014 at 6:48am

SpAce Race Round 1 registration for groups is officially closed, as we're now at 87 players. We can take a few singles, and that's it. I'm hoping we can organize those that come into groups of 5 if we do indeed end up with more than 72 players, but if not, we'll have to go with 2 or 3 ghost groups. Either way, speed of play would be about the same over all. The final countdown is on!

Mike Wilson   March 17, 2014 at 10:49pm

5 per hole is fine by me!

Cody Hartman   March 18, 2014 at 11:28am

Paul I have to withdraw...just got a family thing so I have my son this weekend...sorry man

Paul Compton-PortlandMobileDiscLab   March 18, 2014 at 11:32am

Okay, hope to see you at one soon, Cody.

Paul Compton-PortlandMobileDiscLab    March 11, 2014 at 8:17am

Official registration for SpAce Race round 1 is at 69, so now's the time to sign up if you've been intending to! We'll allow some groups of 5, but that means one player of the 5 can't have their aces count toward the double ace pot. I'm putting the brickwall limit at 91 players -- after that it's wait list.

Rick Saffeels   March 11, 2014 at 12:42am

Or the double ace pot changes to the new "Big Dipper" Idea ($3 for ace pot and only they get into the double Ace Pot) for groups of 5. Bigger pool faster :) Just thinking about Rockets and such as I teach to the 7th graders at my school :)

Paul Compton-PortlandMobileDiscLab   March 11, 2014 at 1:20am

Hmm, I think you may be onto something. Maybe make them solo double ace pot winners if they bang two themselves? I like that, it must be done.

Mike Wilson    March 10, 2014 at 6:32am

Hate to be a PITA but are you ordering extra of all the original discs you offered?
I'd like to get my hands on one of those Moonshine discs.

Paul Compton-PortlandMobileDiscLab   March 11, 2014 at 12:17am

Totally, Mike -- even got some Moonshine Escapes that weren't originally offered.

Mike Wilson    March 10, 2014 at 2:39am

Hey Paul is there still room for Jared (60547) & I (60546)?
