The Bay City chapter of the Disc-Ciples has 4 MDGO State Berth Packages to distribute. They'll be awarded to the top 4 in one general division on Friday, June 15th based on two rounds: one straight, the other Cali banking 1. You can do your two rounds ANYTIME between 9am and dark! See the note below about trying more than one straight round.

(NOTE: We only had enough players to justify 3 berths rather than 4. Congrats to those who were "BERTH-ed:" Jeff and the two Josh's!)

QUALIFYING: This will only be open to people who have played the Monday night Sanford doubles league at least TWICE. You can cash-less pre-reg in the "Talk" section. We'll need at least 10-15 people to make it worthwhile, and it will be limited to 20 to give everybody a decent chance at the berths. If we fill up at 20, there will even be a 5th Berth package made available!

COST: $10. That gets you at least 2 things: a chance at a berth, a succulent dinner starting around 4 or 4:30, and hopefully some other fun prizes for non-berth winners. We can even shuttle you in and out from the nearby Rail Trail parking to avoid the onerous $10 park entrance fee for Midland non-residents.

LAST MINUTE QUALIFYING: If you've only played one Monday night, you can still play, just add $5 to the cost. And if you haven't played at all yet, add $10.

SIDE-GAMES: If we get to 15 players, $1 of the $10 will go into an ace pool with a CTP marked throughout the day on hole 15 in case no one gets an ace. Also, if we get to 15 players we'll have "added cash" in the form of free entry to 1 or 2 Monday night leagues for the places that finish without berths.

PLAY ALL DAY - COUNT YOUR BEST SCORE: Go around again and again the whole day and we'll count your best straight round! Sorry, you only get one shot at the Cali round, but go back and do a straight round as much as you can. But if you start a round, then you must finish it to try again. You can only abort (DNF) your last straight round.
