Come Out and play, enjoy the day, win some prizes, have a hot dog and help launch this great addition to AuGres, Old Airport Disc Golf Course. Option A - pay $15.00 per team or hot shot cali (no bank) players. Option B - just show up anytime throughout the day for casual play, stay for the hotdogs and prizes and play doubles for prizes or for fun... Monday September 23rd, 2013 is a Grand Opening Ceremony for the Old Airport DGC in AuGres, MI. The details of the ceremony and tournament follows - At 5:00pm the city will do a welcome and give some thank you's to contributors, developers and volunteers. A brief explanation and demo of disc golf will follow. Hot dogs are being cooked by the AuGres Police Chief from 5:00 until 6:30 or so. The city will be giving away some prizes (t-shirt, hoodie, gift certificate for camping) in a drawing, all in attendance can enter, need not to be present to win. The EVENT - $15.00 per team or cali player. Bring your own partner or show off your stuff playing no bank cali. First place pays 75% of the entry, second place gets 25%. There will be donated prizes, hopefully every entrant will win something. Registration ends at 4:55, tee off at 5:45 and we WILL play all 20 holes, so timely play will be a factor. Players can pay me in person or pre reg and pay by Saturday the 21st. here on disc golf scene.
