Mike they have camp sites there, I am sure very cheap for now off season, resort has indoor pool hot tub etc.. to chill out after practice rounds. The tourney baskets will not go into ground until 6:30 am Sunday morning but the teepads are staked and signed & basket placement is clearly marked now

Anyone going here to practice there is a guard at the front gate but they will let you in if you tell them you are a disc golfer and you are there to practice for tourney. Use the property mgr's name Lorrae (pronounced Lor-Ray) if you have any issues. The property is allowing all players to enter for practice and for the tourney for FREE. All 18 teepads are marked, 9 concrete teepads and 9 natural teepads, 9 baskets are in the ground and the palcement of the other 9 baskets are clearly mark ... more

The original shorter front 9 play in front of the activitiy center and 7 of the 9 add'l longer back 9 play around the lakes around the activitiy ctr and the other 2 play to the left of hole 8's basket. MUST PLAY this set up will be great fun.

per mike michalak....you caan actually go out there and play the course starting now. the origonal 9 are already in the ground and the add'l. 9 are marked with stakes and flags...very easy to follow. the entire course will be set up no later than 7:30 a.m. sunday morning!!! they do have "off season" pricing for camp sites and cottages for thoe who want to stay over saturday night. they do serve food and beverages(alcohol too). i may be going up saturday later day or early sunday a.m......if anyone needs a ride...i have room for 3! please call 4195094028.

Hole 10 482 ft (par 4)
Hole 11 301 ft (par 3)
Hole 12 478 ft (par 4)
Hole 13 262 ft (par 3)
Hole 14 282 ft (par 3) (over water with a drop zone if you can not make it or get wet)
Hole 15 510 ft (par 4)
Hole 16 308 ft (par 3)

The following holes are played after hole 8 and before hole 9
Hole A 340 ft (par 3)
Hole B 601 ft (par 4)

Course par for the 18 hole tourney is 58 with 4 par 4's. 8 of the 9 temp holes have OB water that could come into play with a poor shot. The 1 hole that does not have water has OB raod that could come into play. The orignal 9 have OB possibilities of road or water on 8 of the 9 holes with hole 7 being the only safe haven.

If you can only make 1 event this fall this is the 1 event.

This event is at a Resort site who are allowing free entry into the resort, there is camping, cottages, and a hotel on site. There is an indoor pool, hot tub, steam room, weight room, raquetball, billards room, game room, convient store, fast food restaraunt all on site at the activity center. Also, a outdoor pool now closed for fall, a marina and more.

Please lets support an event where a private owner took his own $$ and installed a disc golf course for our pleasure and future advancement of the sport.

please be advised the tourney will have the 9 permanent holes with Mach 3 baskets which have been installed on the converted par 3 ball golf course which has 3 ponds etc.. And there will be 9 awesome tempoary holes with Chainstar baskets on the more than 25 acres of land set aside for future expansion.

Please note this tourney is not at Ottawa park but instead is at a brand new disc golf course at a Lake Erie Island Resort located at 4495 W. Darr-Hopfinger Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452. This course is not yet listed on the PDGA or TheDiscGolfScene Website so I had to put in any course to get the tourney listed on thediscgolfscene
