C-tier · PDGA sanctioned singles tournament
About this tournament
$20 Flat fee for all divisions. The PDGA fees have been waived and will be donated to the charity. All percentages will be consistant with the previous events, and PDGA guidelines.
The point series is simple. Every time a player participates in an event they should enter the same division. In doing so, they will get a point for themself and a point for every player in their division that they beat. At the end, the top 30% of the field for each division will be payed out the money collected.
The final event will be at Sims Park in Euclid. It will be a PDGA Sanctioned Ice Bowl, worth double points for all participants.
***** PLEASE NOTE *****
The divisions will be restricted to the following for this event. To keep in line with the point series, the following divisions will be offered:
Pro - Men and Women
Am1 (Advanced) - Men and Women
MM1 (Adv. Masters) - Men and Women
Am2 (Intermediate) - Men and Women
There will be no Am3 (Recreational) division offered.
The only change to divisions really affects the Advanced group. There was some interest when the series started to have an Adv. Masters group. We decided against it for the entire series but felt it would be appropriate to add to the final event. However, since this is an on-going points event, the payout will alter just a tiny bit. Each division will be payed out individually, not cumulatively. IE, for the Euclid event, the Am1 monies will stay in that pool and the Adv. Masters money will stay in that pool. When it comes to paying out the points series, the final event scores will be shuffled together for both Adv. divisions and points awarded for Euclid in one large Advanced group.
For anyone choosing to change divisions for the final event, your points will not follow you. The points earned in a division, will remain in that division. There is no other way we can weight them and allow them to follow you. Thank you for understanding.
Each event will payout to those who participate. just as with the PDGA...
pros = cash... ams = merchandise
The charity will rotate annually. This year it is the Akron Food Bank.
Each event's proceeds will be set aside to be added together with the next... All money raised will be donated at one time at the end of the series. less

The goal for this tourney is a minimum of 60 players. We are looking to breach the $2000 mark on our fund raising tour for the winter and that will guarantee it will happen. We would love more, just looking to hit our goal! Thanks for stepping up all!

Hole 7 might be unplayable. Will most likely be replaced by Hole 22 (bench to practice basket)

EUCLID! I need some people to step forward and treat us with your cooking. Looking to add a couple more people kicking in on lunch.
As for the rest of you all. The course WILL BE WET, right now, there is standing water on many of the fairways. The tee pads will be clear but prepare for water. Course will be looked at later in the week to give you as up to date an idea as possible.
