Who does the berths go to what divisions

Chris Leo   August 2, 2013 at 10:32am

It will go to the divisions that are offered at the State Finals. Need three to make a division to get a birth as well.

Chris Leo   August 2, 2013 at 10:40am

*berths.

John Minicuci   August 2, 2013 at 11:22pm

We could have 9 divisions at the MCO with the Open, Open Master, Open Women, AM Master, AM Women, AM1, AM2, and AM3 included. We have 18 Berths to distribute. There will be a minimum of 1 Berth per division with the busier divisions getting awarded more.

Something to ponder 2: What is the best way to run a fly mart on a single day tournament? We have an opportunity to get a few local clubs involved and would love to see their products on the tables. We could set up a tent away from Tourney Central...

It was really sweet a couple of years ago when CCR ran an old-fashion flymart at the CCR Open. It was just "Bring your discs and sell 'em!"

Matt Rinker   August 11, 2013 at 10:31pm

Hey, we still do that at the CCR Open. For a single day event, maybe do it during the lunch break. Most players have time to kill anyway.

John Minicuci    July 30, 2013 at 9:14pm

Something to ponder since many tournaments get hit with the same: "Can I cash out early because..." question: do the Open players mind having us PayPal their winnings to them? We do not mind and we understand everyone has somewhere to be sometime, including the Amateurs and the tournament staff. We are just asking to see what the general mindset is out there and improve the overall experience...

One round a day events are nice Jeff but as a TD, I for one do not wish to give up an entire weekend to watch others play. I like to throw, albeit not that well, myself, or spend time with my family, or attempt to prepare for work, or do things around my house that needs done, etc...

John Minicuci   August 2, 2013 at 3:19pm

BTW, nice plug on your tournament. Insert wink here...

Darren Harper   August 16, 2013 at 9:36am

the pro payouts are determined as soon as everyone has reged put money in envelopes have someone else if the td doesnt want to do it give someone else the responsibillity and people who want to leave early hand them the envelope doesnt sound that hard.
