@ J per your question in regards to what the site said, We said everyone will play same tees. Per the conversation currently on page 6 of this board. Quote** Lawrence Leonardi essentialdiscs.com › September 7 at 10:08am
everyone will be playing the same layout. plan on shorts 1st round and longs 2nd unless time is not permitting of longs 2nd round, which I dont think will be an issue.

I do not remember putting on our morning paper which Robert my brother read from that o ... more

@Shawn, yeah u might have to catch up with me on the course to do that.
I'm glad you enjoyed yourself dude, why is it a problem to you that other people didn't?
Constructive criticism not welcome here!

I enjoyed myself, as well as having a chance to play a tourney at Cass. I'm done trying to knock some sense into you.

Didn't the tournament webpage (that isn't up anymore) even say am1 and open shorts first round long second round?
Honestly asking, not trying to be a smart ass. But I believe it did.

Dunno why am3s would pay specific attention to what open and am1s are playing anyways?

@Shawna in my post does it not say that I asked other people if they heard the same thing??? and that they ALL said YES???

Incorrect. In the players meeting the following was stated..."If all cards are turned in before 12:30 then EVERYBODY will be playing longs second round, but am1 and open are playing longs second round regardless".
That's what everybody that I asked heard, honestly.

At Players meeting we told people that IF ALL cards were in by 12:30 Pro and Am1 would be playing longs. Also told we would give at least 40 minutes for lunch. Fact last card didn't come in until after 12:40 thus we decided all would play shorts per what we said in players meeting. Also we gave minimum 50 minutes for lunch rather then the shortened 40 minutes we had said in the players meeting so if people were in a rush to get out the holes they might want to think about managing their ... more

You must have been at a different place. I was sitting, and listened to the short players meeting, that was actually later then the time told. THere is no reason why people should have been late. It was over an hour after the last card was turned in.

No complaints. Just the facts.
Force- Not my name, everybody's name on the card. Understanding must not be your strong point.
Shawn- There was no players meeting at lunch, I was sitting there stunned that there was not one.
Robert- Thanks man, but it doesn't matter.
Anyway, the rounds of golf was fun.

Sam I can understand am2s and am3s not minding much. But am1 and open were told they definitely were playing longs and then they switched it u while everyone was on break. Then most people got back with like less than 5 minutes to tee, so you run to your hole and can't find anyone on your card because you are on the wrong teebox?
You don't need confusion 2 minute before your teeing off a tourney round and to pretty much say he'd rather put the am2s and am3s on longs is wrong, people know that am1s and pros take longer and a TD should know that for sure.

I had to scratch my ass with my own hand and that's just not right. Someone behind me could have done it.

I would never **** at someone for putting a lot of hard work in. but after waiting years for a tournament to be at hines and then have it be that much of a poorly run failure, its really disappointing. I wouldnt have played had I known there wouldnt be long tees. Tds always make up the cards and check them at the end. But that was to much workjust like telling cassuals to leave or actually playing a tournament like it should be played.
