About this tournament

King of the Course Challenge 2014
Presented by the Norwalk Area DGA
Saturday May 3, 2014
Reg. 10-11 am., Tee Off 11:30 am.
Singles format
2 rounds of 24 holes
1st round from the "winter" position and the 2nd round from the "summer" positions.

A Flight (Open): $25
B Flight (Ams): $25
C Flight (Novice/Jr): $25

This is a non PDGA sanctioned event. The event is a benefit tournament for the upcoming B-Tier in July and is also for the bragging rights for one year on the Great Blue Heron.

First 10 players registered in each flight will receive a free disc. There will be lunch for sale the day of the event for $3.00 (2 hotdogs, bottle water/pop and chips).

Here is the breakdown of the tournament. Each player will have $10 of their entry fee automatically go into the 2 Day B-Tier event in July. The rest of the entry fee will go right back out the players that place in their divisions. The first place player in each flight will also be given a trophy that says King of the Course Challenge Champion 2014, This will give said player the “bragging” right for one year on the course and hopefully will grow to be an annual event to make our summer tournament bigger and better with the possibility of two sanctioned events a year! Only the top 3 places in each division will be paid out unless the division has more than 10 players in it then it will be adjusted accordingly from that point on.
