Well despite the weather 83 players came out to play in the extremely cold and windy weather yesterday! The temps were hovering around 15 degrees or lower and with the wind chill i'm sure it got below Zero at points! Burrrrrr The Ice Bowl definatley held up its name yesterday indeed.. Not a whole lot of snow. I would say somewhere in the area of about 18 inches or so.... Despite the cold weather we had lot of cool things going on this year to help money and food for our charities..Besides the 83 players that came out to play and payed there fees of food or money... We had a 50/50 ace pool, mulligans, auction, bake sale and many many raffle items. With that being said we were able to raise and total amount of 3,675 dollars for our Meals on wheels program and collect about 400 lbs of food for our local food pantry... The Kicker is my Uncle called me last night wanting to donate so he threw in an extra 100 dollars and my friends husband called me as well and wanted to donate any extra 400 on top of the 100 he had already donated... So the Total cash collected for K-Town Ice Bowl 2013 was 4,175 dollars... We are taking 175 dollars of the money collected and we are going to purchase more food for the food pantry which will probably get us in the area of about 700 lbs of food or a little more..... And we gave 4000 dollars to be donated to the Meals on Wheels Program!! So all in all the K-Town Ice Bowl 2013 was a true success!!

It's looking like we are supposed to be getting about 6 inches of fresh snow so we highly recommend taping ribbons to your discs so they are easier to find!! Thanks everyone

So there are more and more people wanting to play everyday!! EVERYONE is welcome as I don't like to limit this as it is a charity event...I just ordered 10 more players packs today as it looks like we will have somewhere close to 85 if everyone shows up:-) I am asking everyone to be there as close to 10am as possible to we can get registration done ASAP!!! Your cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks everyone
