OK, wow, Im not one to usually post negative Information but wow, When a group of people are trying to do something positive for the entire Disc Golf Community why would someone who thinks this is about what store you might be affiliated has the upper hand or you think your helping that store by tearing down signs or posters for a fund raiser that benefits everyone. OK, wow, Im not one to usually post negative Information but wow, When a group of people are trying to do something positive for the entire Disc Golf Community why would someone who thinks this is about what store you might be affiliated has the upper hand or you think your helping that store by tearing down signs or posters for a fund raiser that benefits everyone. If you feel so strongly against Disc Golfers who are helping grow the sport, or you feel that where you shop is better then the host of this event that is OK but to destroy this event with your negative attitude and your complete disregard to help is a complete shameful act. You sir are very confused in what the game of Disc Golf is about, 1st and foremost have fun but to make out that this is about us and you, lol your not even in our league.......To all who read this and I mean this whole heart, If you were there and saw me today you know darn well I work for all of us and the community I hope when you see this and read it you understand that there are players out there that like to have fun and get better with their own goals, and there is others out there who arent happy unless they win every single time they play and so they destroy everyone else s dreams I will call and talk with the other store owner whos wonderful representative did this, but please everyone this event is about all of us having this park to attend nice events and good practice rounds. Save it by helping keep it clean, Thank You

Disc Golf Appreciation Event Oct. 20th 2012 has been very difficult work to get this event up and ready. BUT with the help of The Grand River Bandits Semi-Pro Football team members and some scouts the park was cleaned up and we event managed to get some of the holes cleaned up as well. We actually were able to get the fairways on 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 17, 18 cleaned up right to the ground. Were not done yet, but we are attempting to get all the broken up wood and sticks organized so we have some unifo ... more

Disc Golf Appreciation Event Oct. 20th 2012 has been very difficult work to get this event up and ready. BUT with the help of The Grand River Bandits Semi-Pro Football team members and some scouts the park was cleaned up and we event managed to get some of the holes cleaned up as well. We actually were able to get the fairways on 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 17, 18 cleaned up right to the ground. Were not done yet, but we are attempting to get all the broken up wood and sticks organized so we have some uniformed look to the holes. I am very happy with our volunteers who came out and helped out a Park and event to help us improve the park conditions. Between All the people who cleaned up there was just over $22.00 in bottles recovered, and 10 bags of trash, that is amazing. Today JC Park is clean, and our event will be very soon on the 20th. Come out and hang out with all of us and show your support for a great event.

Menards just gave us some more gift cards, and some gifts for extra give a way stuff, Golden Pawn Just donated a GPS Unit worth 150.00 and I am so excited just to 18 holes all with gifts. Im adding $20.00 to the ace pool right now.....This is a great event with lots of stuff to hand out, Hope we see more signed up soon........

18 holes with prize support CTP on every hole. We have a GPS valued over $150.00 donated by Golden Pawn. We have 5 $10.00 gift cards from Menards, We have 4 $10.00 gift cards from Subway, We have plastic donated from Alpha Players, We have shirts donated from T shirt wonders, We have Disc Golf supplies donated from Innova, We have A Target we are raffling off, we are cooking hotdogs on the grill, we have player packages for AM divisions, we have a ace pool, This event has so much to give. The meetings at Park and rec had nobody really showing up and because of the crime and trash all over the course the decision was made then to see what could be done and what to do with the park. The powers to be took it off the ballet and decided that they would revisit the park issues at a latter time. 2012 the issue was brought up again and this time around Alpha Players was there to help talk about the concerns and help with a clean up. Disc Golfers contribute to about 50% of the trash, alcohol, and accidents in the parking lot. Disc Golfers are not the contributing factor to the outrages crime calls and other nasty things in the park that go on at night. So if you take away the trash and keep the park looking nice thus having more golfers you get less activity of crime and other stuff at the park. In theory disc golfers would take this park and keep it nice for the future. So we are in hopes with this donation of a park clean up from Alpha Players, Ducks Lawn Care and other local business supporters we can keep this park away from any politician who might want to just get rid of it. I'm confused......why is the course gonna get pulled??? Maybe I wasn't reading everything and missed it. Is it because of the huge ridiculous fights that break out on the basketball courts over nothing or the elementary school kids cussing and smoking cigs on the ****ty plastic slide? Please explain...
