About this tournament
Sign-up for the Carving Contest will be at check-in. You must sign-up at check-in so we can get the right amount of pumpkins while everyone is distracting themselves with disc golf. Between rounds is when it all goes down... nothing is too extreme for this event! Judges will be anonymous park and event personal.
-Winner will receive free entry to Kick Out the Yams, 11/19, at Grand Woods Park (acepool, 50/50, and non-current fees not included).
-2nd receives 1/2 off entry to Kick Out the Yams (same terms apply). less

Quick thanks to Matt for being the fastest TD when it comes to uploading scores and results. Seriously...nobody else even comes close.
Jeff Dutka October 31, 2011 at 1:38pm
Also, a huge thanks to Des for taking photos and to Erin and Jayne for helping the tourney run smoothly. It was a great day for Lansing disc golf with many more to come!
Shawn Boucke October 31, 2011 at 1:29pm
Thank you. You have my last name spelled Soucke instead of Boucke. It is still linked though.
Eirik Kauserud October 31, 2011 at 1:04pm

But the Biggest congrats go to the Pumpkin Carving Contest Winners:
2nd place was Robert and Christina Crosby with a great rendition of the headless horseman
1st- JEFF DUTKA with not only a great rendition of the innova star... but he did so with mindbogglingly meticulous intricacies, which is what gave him the big win.
See you all at Kick Out the Yams! And if you all thought pumpkins made awesome trophies, wait till you see what I have in store for the Yams. Gone are the days of no trophy...
Thanks to everyone for coming out. It was a great day for carving and golf!

I just got home from work and I'm getting ready to start my TD report. They will be up sometime today... hopefully soon. I would've liked to have them up last night, but I had to work early this morning, so sleep was the number one priority (at the time)... now it's seeing what that 10 down the first round is gonna be rated.

Hey guys, I managed to lose not one but two cryztal flx nukes today @ the tournament. If anyone finds them my initials and phone number are on them. Hole 12 on the right side in the grass and 18 left side in the grass. THX

Thanks for helping out today Jayne!
I just posted all the pumpkins from the carving contest. Thank you Horrock's for the great deal on them!
Jayne Snider October 30, 2011 at 7:25am
I may come join the party to help Matt... I'm still awake lol
Matt Rinker October 29, 2011 at 11:22pm
Oh, and while this probably wont happen... we do have the okay from the park to add 3 temp holes and we already have all baskets lined up and ready if needed (Dave, thanks for the offer, but I think we got it covered).
The only way we are going to add holes is if the event fills at 72 players... I hope we fill and I hope we need to add the extras!
Matt Rinker October 29, 2011 at 11:17pm
To all that apply- Thanks for letting me know that you wont be able to make it. I honestly appreciate it. Robert and Jon, I got you both down. Doug, sorry you can't make it, but at least I get to use your killer thermos (thing keeps coffee hot for 48 hours, seriously!).
OK, TD shutting down... see you all bright and early :)
And don't forget... there's a pumpkin carving contest!!!! Winner gets free entry to Kick Out The Yams (11/19), 2nd gets half off!
Doug Prizer October 29, 2011 at 7:56pm
