The new era of Dogs of Disc is off to a fine start. Well done Rick & Brett!

Not necessarily a new era, as the Grand Rapids Dogs of Disc started the era back in 1981.... but more of a new year. ;) Thank you Randy. I'll see what pictures I can post to the event throughout the week.

The Plaques were AWESOME! The scores are part of the time spent volunteering ;) ... a mandatory thing.

Rick Marritt   January 26 at 8:23pm

Tim, if you go to the tournament itself.... the scores should be available. Or are you looking for individual hole scores?

Rick Marritt    January 18 at 8:56pm

A friend and I played Brewer this afternoon. There is a light ice buildup on the teepads with some snow covering. The bigger problem is the drives. You cannot even get to the pavilion and are forced to walk from the soccer fields. Is there any remedy for this problem before Saturday?

Michael Smith   January 16 at 8:35am

That's what I was asking. I wouldn't think it would be a big deal from someone from the parks and rec department to come unlock it for the day and close it when everything was wrapped up.

Rick Marritt   January 16 at 12:09pm

The tee pads are going to cleaned & salted tomorrow. If I'm ambitious enough Saturday morning,i will go out and clear them again. The gate would be awesome to have opened, but the county is already gracious enough to be providing us with free use of the shelter. Sorry guys...

Michael Smith   January 16 at 11:38pm

Yeah for sure. It's no problem, just was curious is all.

Was just curious if the gate will be opened, or if we have to hike back?

Victor Wahl   January 16 at 3:45pm

Should of had it at Jaycee sorry to say

Rick Marritt   January 17 at 9:24pm

No need to be sorry, Victor. I know some would prefer to be there, but as the first tournament of the year for GRDoD.... Our home course should be played. Maybe next year we'll go back to Jaycee. Maybe it'll become a rotating thing....
