Jessie, sorry about the delayed response. Yes that is correct for the Juniors.
Chris Leo July 23, 2012 at 12:14pm
Paul, yes that is correct it starts and finishes at OU. That is a smart idea to carpool between places.
Paul Holstein July 23, 2012 at 12:03pm
Does this tournament both start AND end at Oakland University, where I could plan to drive only to OU and then carpool with some friends to Stony and then back to my car?

The 18 at Stony will be the way the course is numbered today. Hole 1 starts near the starter hut and throws to old 23s basket, old hole 24 is now hole 2, old holes 1 - 8 are now holes 3 - 11,old holes 15 - 22 are now holes holes 12 - 18 (er, I think) :-)

1st: Nobody can predict what will happen next year: OU / River Bends. This year we are 18 at OU and 18 at Stony. We will not be playing the new 9 at Stony. The plan is to play 1 - 18. If anyone can remember last year, they would know why. We played 24 at Stony and the afternoon round took F O R E V E R ! 2nd: We would not do anything at OU unless the AD agrees to it, that includes throwing into the soccer field no matter what the assistant AD or "a little joggy boy" says. I talk directly to the AD and we only will do what OU agrees to. We discussed the longest drive competition and are hammering out the details. Stay tuned.
Last year these tees were played by the following divisions but they are not guaranteed to be the same for 2012:
All Open Divisions: Long/Long
AM Masters: OU Regular tees/Stony Shorts
AM 1: Long/Long
AM Women: Short/Short
AM2: Stony Longs/OU Regular tees

I would be careful throwing into the soccer field...I "talked" to a little joggy boy once and he said he knew the assistant athletic director, and according to him, we are not supposed to do that, cause; and I quote " you could blast someone with those things"

We are not taking cashless pre reg for this tournament I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are taking registration through PayPal, which is the green button that says, "Register online now" under the About tab. If you would like to pay in person at league, or mail a check in that is fine as well.
