Adam, I appreciate you posting the GRDoD tournament on several pages....GREAT ADVERTISEMET, but unfortunately you posted it onto a few pages that are administrated by Keith Aten, whom I told the March Madness was going to be a small tournament. Please check with me if at all possible before posting ... more

Any idea when the course updates are being made? Can you post the new layout? Do you need help on construction? Thanks Rick :-)

Unfortunately, I do not know when construction will start. I'm fairly certain that it is being done privately by Cascade Park...but was not informed of anything other than the course layout intention.

I made changes. Please check them out and let me know what you think. THANKS!

My plaque guy will be making plaques and I am planning on providing prizes for 2 spots per division. ... I appologize for the delay in my response. Plus, I will have some CTPs and LPs out on the course.

Some constructive feedback...$40 is kind of steep when you don't know who your partner is going to be. Personally, I wouldn't pay much more than $20 given random draw. Not dissing your tournament, just providing some commentary.

Thanks...I don't mean to be one of those whiney pros. I was just thinking that if I felt that way about the price, others probably feel the same. I must have missed the part about the disc, that makes the price seem better.

Rick Marritt   February 11, 2014 at 9:13pm

Zachary, unfortunately I had to look towards future events hosted by GRDoD and came to the conclusion that handing out a disc and doing a pay-out for the pros was going to cut it close on me having enough for just my cross-sponsorship between a couple other clubs (K'Aces, FRDGA, etc.). The price per pro is $20 and it is no longer random. I am sorry for the delay in response to you.

Cool! hopefully I will be able to make it. Might have company coming that weekend...not sure yet.

Do you keep the same partner for the 2nd round or flip again?

Rick Marritt   January 22, 2014 at 12:56pm

you will keep the partner UNLESS it is decided at the next meeting of the minds that there will be an alteration to how the typical 2 round doubles play be for this event.
