Can you register me for AM2 for Fitz please? I really wanna play it since it's so close to my house and I want Fitz to be the nice course that it has potential to be. Thanks Matt!

This event is a fundraiser to improve an already battered course. The park has given us the okay to add cement pads, tee signs and replace the raskets.... but we must fund the whole endeavor. Of course we plan to ask for hole sponsors from local businesses and friends of the park, but that will only take us so far.
This is a singles event. It is non-sanctioned, so FUN is mandatory! And all players will receive a pack of hand warmers as a players-pack. We are only offering 5 divisions- Pro Men and Women, Am1, Am2 and AmWomen. All proceeds raised will go towards the parks renovation.

Actually, we're cutting Am3, sorry Harold. Only Am1, 2 and Am Women... as well as a Pro division.

Erin is correct, there will be payouts, but the format has yet to be decided. Basically, a percentage of your entry fee will go towards the Fitz Fund and the Club will then match that percentage. And, like Erin said, after the Officers meet tonight, we will have the format set.
And, Am1, Am2, and Am3 will all be offered in some fashion as well as a possible Open division, unless we try something crazy different with the format. But I'm leaning toward keeping it simple.

There will be some kind of payouts I am sure. And it's not all advanced, we're just registering people to get names up on the board. We have an officer meeting tonight to discuss the formats and will let you all know soon. Thanks for the opinions! Any more ideas you have let us know today! We just want you to come out and play and have fun for a good cause!

I also like the singles, doubles format with seedings.
It will be nice playing with the best player in the 2nd round.

It's all Advanced divisions, so does that mean the lower divisions shouldn't show? are there any payouts at all, or this just fundraiser, so it's all donation to the cause? I'm ok with $30 for all, if it's 100% donation to the cause, I'm just wondering what I'd be getting myself into.

How does everyone feel about Rd 1 being singles... then we payout the top 1/3 in singles, then based on where you placed in singles you are seeded (1st is 1 seed and 16th or last, is 16 seed) and that is how you're partnered up for the second round, which would obviously be doubles... then we payout the top 1/3 there.... then we also payout the top 1/3 with the best 2 round total???? Or we could just do singles or dubs. Thoughts??
