Big "thank you" to all the volunteers and players who made the Fairgrounds Fling 50 disc golf tournament successful despite the weather. Let's do another one soon!
Check out this article in the local paper, the hardcopy has photos of Chris Lenkiewicz and Stan Hubbard on the front page!

I see now, in the 'About' tab it clearly states 930 meeting and 1015 tee-time. Can't wait but I missed the practice round on Friday. Guess ill practice in the first round as Im sure ill arrive the last couple minutes before 10:10. Show and throw. Lol. It's only a tradition for me.

Thanks for coming Russ, and congrats on the victory. Hopefully we can get in a round together soon.

Walt...you have done an amazing job with this really fun course. I appreciate all the effort you put into lining the fairways with OB. The finishing hole is a very inspired tribute to the USDGC, especially putting the USDGC basket on top of the "Lighthouse". This looks like countless hours of work!
Big thanks... Charlie b

Tournament is on Rain or Shine. If lightning or tordado, will postpone until passed. Doubles today: sign up at 330, tee at 4 sharp

Walt, not sure if we gave Logan's shirt size. He needs an adult large. Also, if it is storming, is there going to be a rain date and what might that be?

No rain date set, if its absolutely terrible (lightning and tornado stuff) we'll delay a while. Come ready to play

Walt, if my son sick and can't make it. Could I have my father in law take his place? He will be Rec. let me know.

Hey Walt,
It was really cool meeting you and playing a few rounds with you today. Really looking forward to the tournament on Saturday.
Real quick, I know you're super busy tying up all the loose strings before Saturday but just wanted to let you know that the XXL club shirt you gave me today fit perfectly so if you see this in time, I'd like to change my tournament shirt size to an XXL as well.
Thanks,
Tim

I played this lovely course last weekend, and my brother(Walt) has really put in alot of time to make the place look nice. He also spent hours lining the course with string which makes the layout much more challenging. I suggest you play a practice round or Doubles on Friday night to get a feel for the abundant OB areas created by the string on almost every hole. I wish I could be there -but I am sure all attending will have an awesome time.....Don't forget to give Walt a pat on the back for all of his work-not only on the course but also administratively. Have Fun!!!

I was wanting to play in this tournament but was confused on what I would have to pay since I've never played in one before! Also I've been playing for about ten yrs and this yr I started on leagues and I don't no where to place myself as far as recreational or intermediate? If you could get back to me that would be great thxs!

The ace fund is optional, but if you are not a current 2013 pdga member, you must add $10.
Brian Morrison April 8 at 9:01pm
Our son is 14 and wants to play. There is no Junior division. Do we put him in Recreational?

My other question is, if there ends up not being enough juniors, will we need to resubmit or will you automatically put him in the recreational division?

He must be in a division with at least three players. We won't know for sure until day of. I can move him without further action on your end though.
