The field this year will be increased to 144. A course map is in the Pictures section of this page.

All players will play two rounds of 18 holes ("Front 18" and "Back 18"), combining 9 holes of the newly-completed, 18-hole Forest Drive course (aka "x-holes") with 9 holes of the Legacy (i.e., original) course.

As currently planned, Open Pros, Pro Masters, Adv Ams and Adv Masters will play in Pool A (long tees to long positions), and all others will play in Pool B (short tees to short positions). All tee groups will be by Division, where possible.

Food for thought -

Pool B is closed, but even though Pool A plays "long-to-long," it's not as "long" as it sounds. Half of the holes will be on the Forest Drive course, which Pool B also plays, and which has single baskets and only three holes with a longer tee (two of which are the original x-hole tees).

So, don't be scared. Pool A only plays the Legacy course holes, long-to-long, ONCE!
.
The Maryland Senior Olympics (MDSO) will be run concurrently with Round 1 of the DHO and will have separate awards for winners. MDSO-only entrants should register as "General" ($15). All seniors (50 and older) registered in the DHO are in the MDSO automatically and will be eligible for MDSO awards.
