The biggest bottleneck on the Monster is 14. Having a volunteer or a marshall there to direct traffic and help look for wayward discs would go a LONG way.

Great tourney this year!

The ratings will get fixed once the PDGA reviews the results.

Angel - Yes, there will be better communication next year. Anytime that we go in to a new area where we are not familiar with the courses, local preferences, local contacts, parks departments, and so forth, there are always going to be minor problems that we have to battle though.

This was a great year for the Dynamic Discs crew to get our 'feet wet' and better direction for what to do next year. We realize the value ... more

Lost pink star Firebird high in left pine tree on monster hole 11. Would appreciate this one back if found.

unoffical ratings for different rounds are never the same, plus pros were listed as a seprate tournament. when they are offical in Sept it is pretty likely the PDGA will average them all together. am1 rated better is not that strange, if alot of am1 players shoot below their avarage, it will only boost the ratings for those that shot well

GoldencorralSmith, Am1 played same layout as pros. Interesting Brad...Original course, the pros got better ratings than you guys but Monster Longs the Am1 ratings were better...makes no sense. Monster champ baskets ratings are slightly worse as well.

Advanced played the same layouts as the pros. The question about us playing the same courses was rhetorical.

AMs played all shorts and Pros played all Longs

Has anyone else noticed a discrepancy between the pro round ratings and the advanced round ratings? Didn't we play the same courses? What am I missing?

I hope that to make next year better there will be better communication on this website by DD so people know what is going on since a lot of people use this website and not the PDGA website. I hope there is better communication with the local clubs and parks so course maintenance can be done in a timely manner and not waiting to the last minute to get it done. I would like to see the toboggan course used next year for sure that could be awesome but it would have to be before AM Nats so that way ... more

We don't expect many pros but we usually just have 2 divisions - 1 Pro and 1 Am. Pros receive cash for payout and Amateurs receive merchandise. We don't restrict it to competitors only. If someone can't make it for the weekend, we hope that they can at least make it out for the doubles.
