On July 1st our church is having our annual family pig roast! We will begin church at 10 am and conclude around noon and make our way out to the picnic area. Along with the pig roast and lots of other foods, we do a Chilli cook off, which usually has around 15 to 20 real good competitors. If you cook Chilli prepare your best! This will be our first disc golf event.
We are also holding a Cookie bake off, so if you or your wife/children bake, bake your best! We will have several BIG inflateables for kids to play on. We will also be conducting a bicycle parade, guys, gals & kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes fancylike and parade them around for fun and possible prizes. We will also be running family games including a BIG BALL game!
We have already had folks call and even a group that has shown up the last couple of days and played with just the poles in the ground. We are so excited to share with the community what God has blessed us with.
OUR FIRST ANNUAL DISC GOLF TOURNEY, which will be a fun doubles best disc format. Along with the doubles best disc FUN tourney we will have 50/50 longest drive/longest made putt/closest to the pin/straightest drive and a separate long drive contest! 50/50 will be $2 for each event and 3 throws for a $10 entry in the long drive contest. We will cut the field in half and throw three more then take the top two and duel it out!
Serious FUN for the WHOLE family! So put us on your calendar, bring YOUR FAMILY to service that morning and if you cannot make the service bring YOUR FAMILY for the picnic, fun activities and a little disc golfin! See ya there!
