Brooke Plantz won Open. JD beat Bobby Mac to take AM1. Fortunato won AM2. Turnout wasn't great, two rounds in the snow made for a looong day. Not too many issues with lost discs, neither of my groups last any discs. Footing was pretty bad on both courses. Great job by Tim and the tournament staff! I had a great time despite my poor play.

C'mon all you AM3 pansies. There's only 3 of us pre-reg'd. That's not a tournament, that's casual play. Get out and play already.

No penalty/group decision on where to spot the lie is a good idea. We'll plan on going with that unless a lot of people have major objections.

Daemon's about right. I live pretty close to Indy, and I have about a foot in my yard.

I think it's up to the TD but I would advocate a "no re-tee with lost disc" rule as well as a strong suggestion to spot for the group behind you. Good one, Brooke.

barely shin deep? there's a foot on the ground.

Jim Daniels    February 26, 2010 at 9:30pm

so is a lost disc a rethrow from the tee with penalty?

Brooke Plantz    February 26, 2010 at 7:06pm

My idea to help eliminate lost discs and all the time spent looking is.... The group ahead spot for the group behind on every hole.

This has worked before at Chills at the Mills when we had lots of snow.

Otherwise it will be brutal!

Ribbons unfortunately have been known to slice fingers open.
