No disc because there wasn't enough interest. 50 discs stamped = $550+ after stamp setup and shipping and if only 6 people show, then we would have 44 discs left over to sell. The reason why it has changed is to make it better for the public to join in. A lot of people didn't even KNOW wha ... more

THE "BEAST" OF THE WOODS    February 13, 2014 at 11:19pm

I go to school in Oregon City on Mondays and Wednesday nights at 6:30. Off work at 3:30, so plenty of time to play Echo twice a week before school. I think I can get this course wired to a -6 or better finish.

One thing that is a bit confusing is that there is an "Echo" park in Canby on DGS and I know it is the same course but I scored rounds to both and it messed up my stats. Just discovered my error. Changed to "North Eco" park and found my past scores.

Check your scores bro.

Has the course been flooded when you play? Like hole 6?

Public service announcement: Just letting people know, this is a normal tournament for anyone to play in. If we aren't able to receive more people though, we might not do CFR discs, and we will just have payouts, awesome trophies and disc prizes, as well as CTP but we need at least 25 people by Feburary 20th to get the minimum 50 CFR discs ordered. Thanks!

Okay made some modifications:
-4 Divisions for BOTH ROUNDS.
-25 or less will make it to the Second Round (top 10 point holders from the DGLA and top 3 in each division)
-Now the Top 2 in Each Division will get paid out according to Buy Ins.
No sandbagging (if that's not already a given) you may play up a division if desired

Ok so second round just top 5 from first round and top 10 from the league. Wht if the top 5 are already from the top ten from league? Also I don't get the point of getting pointsl season just to play another tourney to win... It's like getting baggage 2 at cap city the the finale comes and it's: dump ur tag and try to beat everyone all over to get tht tag. Pointless in my opinion... Not mad, just food for thought. Also joe shmo who plays mediocre but played for points all season won't actually compete in top ten. Has no chance against advanced or pro players.......

This format was one that Foz from Michigan thought up which would allow anyone to play in a cheap tournament, get a disc, and then watch the top players in the state (that come) to play off for the title. I agreed and thought it would fun. Come if you want :)
